I Sorted Famous Characters By Color And Here Are What 13 Teams Look Like (New Pics)
45Kviews
Ten months ago, I shared with you my color scheme teams.
I sorted famous characters by color, but I know that I forgot a lot of them! So, I had to make a 2nd round for the forgotten cartoon characters.
Some of them are still missing from these color palettes because it's hard to put so many popular characters in a little square. But the thing is, I think this is the best format to show them in the best light.
I will certainly make a third part or an ultimate version of those popular characters' color teams with everybody in it. So, if you can think of someone I forgot in my cartoon drawings... Let me know!

Ok so I'm assuming you use some kind of alcohol or water based markers, so I was wondering which brand (like copic or ohuhu?) and would you recommend it? Also what paper? I use canson Bristol xl, but do you think that there is something better? One last thing (sorry) but do you use brush tip or chisel tip/do you think chisel tip is good or should I save up for a dual ended set with brush and chisel? (Just wondering because I do use alcohol based brush tip markers for art, and I've looked at what people recommend, but I'm still not really experienced)
Hello ! Yes, i'm using alcohol markers. I've tried a lot of them. Copics are good, especially because they have a brush tip. And I love the brush tip, the is the best for me. But, in fact they are all quite the same. Arrtx and arteza are cheaper than Copics but as good (but they have not brush tip unfortunately). For the paper, I don't have any recommandation, i'm still trying different types of paper in order to find the best !
Thanks! Arteza came out with brush pens actually (I'm not sure when they came out with them, but it must have been after you were looking around, they are called "real brush pens") unfortunately, though they are cheap, the quality is very poor. I'm assuming it's because they are still working on the brush tip in general, but I would not recommend them unless you do not use your pens often. The lines are very streaky, so if you were trying to fill in a large space, it nearly impossible because of the coverage, ink, and shape of the brush tip. Fortunately, I don't use my pens that often since I'm pretty busy, and I like to have more creative backgrounds than just color blocking, so it's okay for now, but I would not recommend them until arteza figures it out. But anyways, thanks for answering, I appreciate it!
@Linda Bouderbala Yes, I know that they are not alcohol, sorry, I forgot we were referring to alcohol brush pens not just brush pens xD. But anyways my point was that the tip was low quality so it kind of still applies lol -- anyways I do agree that they suck sometimes, but right now it works for my budget and the amount I'm using them. Thanks for the tips though, I'll think about trying to upgrade to better markers, and alcohol ones, but $50 to $200-$400 is quite a large jump for me ;P
@SirPatTheCat Real brush pens are not alcohol markers but more like watercolor pens. I do not like it either, I didnt figured out how to use them to get what I want!
(I'm not the OP)
Dual ended is awesome, sometimes you want different effects for the color.
Thanks! (also I know you’re not op because they have orange colored usernames lol)
