There's a subreddit, called 'Am I The A-Hole?' A catharsis for the frustrated moral philosopher in all of us, it's a place where people find out if they were wrong in an argument that's been bothering them or not. They describe the conflict they have experienced; give everyone both sides of the story, and redditors express their opinion in the comments, describing why they were or weren't the a-hole in the situation.

Twitter user Tim Byrne, however, decided to switch it up. They started a thread with a pretty spot-on AITA version of Casablanca, and this lead to others chiming in with some pretty creative and accurate analyses of other popular movies. Continue scrolling and check them out!

The original novel ("Das doppelte Lottchen" / "The double Lottie") is even better than the movie, I strongly recommend it.

Created Jun 8, 2013, the subreddit already unites over 2.3 million members.

Posts often begin with the acronym 'AITA?' before people put forward their story and pitch their defense. Think of it as trial by Reddit and each post ends up with a final verdict: a-hole or not the a-hole.

Once you enter the page, it’s kind of hard to ever leave. There are just too many wild stories. Like in this thread. Some are extremely petty (Mrs. Doubtfire), others, however, are rather serious and alarming (Misery), but most of these situations -- at their core -- are about people wanting to do good. Or at least appear that way.

Honestly - the plot of this movie always seemed so creepy to me. Nothing wrong with anybody else enjoying it, it just rubs me personally the wrong way, can't help it.

What people sometimes overlook in this movie is that Dennis Nedry is not underpaid - he bid for the job so if he is short on the cash front, it's his own fault and not John Hammond's.

One of the all-time best movies! I wish I could show it in the classroom, but the language is too strong. Also, a lot of the 80s references would be missed (unnoticed) by the students.

Surely if she gave it to her granddaughter then any of Hal's relatives (a sister or brother's offspring for example) could make a claim on it when it came to light that it didn't end up at the bottom of the ocean? Also, wasn't Bill Paxman was looking for it too?

Certainly not! Hunter S. Thompson is an absolute legend of journalism. A juggernaut, in fact!

What??? Why in the world does this person think Jack was a child?. Jack was 20 year old whilst Rose was 17 and was betrothed to a 30 year old Cal.

And they all say to me; "John you're a bore, we've heard this before and tell me to sit down!"
