Dads are always ready to protect us from anything — whether it’s the bullies at school or the monsters under our beds
Dads are never afraid of doing impossible things for us. Learning how to braid our hair, for example
When you’re with daddy you always feel like you’re on the top of the world
He’s so warm and cozy
A big dad can easily become smaller for his beloved daughter
Dads always find the time to join us at our little tea party, even when they’re very busy
They know exactly what we enjoy
That’s why it’s always so hard to let them go
They play together
The sky is fantasy
Dads can do anything, including crazy freaky things
Or help us deal with something really difficult
They’re always ready to have fun!
Dads use their lifetime to protect and love their daughters

I wish my dad would be like that...But mine is just an ahole... It was still really touching. Remindend me of what I never had and always wanted and how despite of every assholery of my dad I cannot hate him however much I want to.
I raised my daughter alone, without her father...he didn´t want to become a father at all...I had the same feelings about those heartwarming pictures, because I know how much she missed her daddy in the past, when she was a child, or even in her youth. Now she is grown, and has learned to deal with it.
My dad died when I was 3, I always wanted a dad, I love when I see real men being daddy.
Barbara, you can't miss what you never had. I was raised by a single mother and I am doing well. Moreover, I had a great role model that prepared me well raise my daughter alone. She is the focus of my life. Cheers.
I am so sorry your dad did not treat you the way you deserved to be treated. I have 3 girls aged 17, 19 & 21 & I love them with all my heart. Every little girl deserves a Dad like the one described above. He really missed out.
I think he realised as he just made another little angel girl (with the 3rd woman...cause I have another half sister)...So my little sister is about 2 months old now and I haven't seen her once...(I'm 21, just for reference) I really hope that he's gonna man up and treat her well, otherwise I'll say some not nice things to him.(I have it bottled up) It's really good to hear tho that not every guy turns out like him ^-^ Your girls must love you! I'm happy for them ^-^
I am so sorry you never received the love you deserved as a little girl. Every daughter deserves a dad who dotes on her. I have 3 daughters who love me with all their heart still & I love them. On behalf of all Dads I apologise for not being there...he really missed out.
I hear you. My dad was the same :( . We don't talk anymore, not because I hate him, but because I no longer desire to be around his aholeness.
i wish i could have been a Dad to anyone who didnt have this kind of love ... <3
I'll take the offer :P :D
I am a dad. And I've done all of these for my 4yr old daughter. Haha! Watch our adventures here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itBvUJ7A_Vg&list=PLgR7cA7Neqvl4bnAWnqNnbqycromcoAfq&index=1
My dad gave me a tea party when I turned 6! Using my mom's best china service! He threatened to "kill" us all if we did anything to the tea set! I salute and admire all awesome dads. Big up to you..and thank you. Your daughter will remember
Ms. Preiss, I'm sorry you didn't have the dad that you wanted. Maybe he didn't have the tools to enable him to love like that. His loss will always be his loss, you can overcome that feeling with forgiveness. It is the greatest gift you can give yourself. Keep smiling.
I'd hug you if I could.
Sorry to hear that... My "Dad" was a dickhead too... My little girl will never know what that is like.
Hi Judit, I was so sad to hear your story about your father being unkind to you. I had pretty much the same kind of experience myself. A stepdad that was quite abusive and a real dad that was gone before I knew him. In the end, I grew up hating everything that had to do with dad, period. Well, then one day, I had my own children and I have never known a great love than this. It's easy to raise them because all I have to do is the exact opposite of how my stepdad raised me and it's perfect. One thing I wanted to excourage you in, is somethign that really helped me. I was reading the Bible once and came across a verse in Psalms and it said this, "when my mother and father forsake me, the Lord will take me up". I have found out, it is true and he has always been there for me. In fact, Jesus is the greatest person I know and he has changed my life forever and I hope you find him too. Bless you and hang in there :)
I do hate mine and he's dead. Cruelty is never necessary, especially by a big bully man towards a little girl.
Oh man! I'm glad someone said it!!! You're not alone. I don't know what any of this feels like at all!
If God puts a blank at one place he overfills the others....wait for wonderful people around.

May be you have no idea when you were a little kid then your father would have loved you in the same way. Or may be he changed later!!!!
I wish this could've been my dad.
I hear ya , Kristin.
I don't know which is worse... a dad who just can't be bothered to do all these, or a dad who you know wants to do of all this, but simply had too much on their plate to do it (bitter divorce, failing business, mounting debts, bankruptcy, ostracised by friends and family)... mine was the latter. Now, it's all... what could have been.
i wish that i could have been a Dad to anyone who didnt have this kind of love ... <3
Aww:(
Lots of comments on here from ladies who didn't have the relationship they wanted to have with their father. But know that reading your comments has made me more determined to be every bit the father my daughter deserves, when she arrives any day now. So thank you x
