We Took Less-Traveled Roads To The Caucasus Mountains With Our 5-Year-Old Son Sitting In A Sidecar

After our sidecar trip to Europe in 2015, in Summer 2016 we decided to take the road less traveled and test our bike’s off-road capabilities, so we headed East, to the Caucasus, Georgia and Armenia.

Vladimir, our son, was five years old back then. Here’s the short story, in pictures.

Wow beautiful pictures! I made roughly the same trip just in the other direction starting in Slovenia/Croatia up to Georgia. With intention to get to the Caucasus mountains, but it didn't work out.

This is way beyond awesome dear fearless rider, I salute you and your family. I also am curious about your bike...is it a chain driven one or shaft driven? Hoping to see more posts from you. Amazing photography too by the way

Little fellow doesn't look that happy on most of the pictures. Don't envy him - at his age, he wants to play with other kids, go on his own adventures, explore his home and its surroundings...

I did these types of things from 6 weeks old until I moved out at 17. You're incorrect. These were the best times of my life. My brother and I have fond memories of our trips and still talk about them and bonded over them.
