Entomologist Rates Ant Emojis Of Different Brands And Their Descriptions Are Hilarious
Have you ever have to send a screenshot of your emoji to a friend just to show them how different they are depending on the device you’re using? Well, it’s true that most emojis convey the same message but they look completely different, sometimes even borderline ridiculous. And if you’ve ever struggled to understand what some emoji even suppose to represent, you’re not the only one. There’s an Entomologist on Tumblr who decided to compare different ant emojis and rated them for accuracy to represent real ants. Well, some ants really impressed the entomologist, but some were an utter disappoint. Scroll below to read his hilarious ratings!

Share on Facebook"Her name is Delanie. She is a lesbian." I fell apart at that bit.
Me too! *sings* The spirit sistersssssssssssss
Load More Replies...I'm just floored that Microsoft's orange blob abomination ranked higher than Samsung's meager attempt to actually make something that sort of reasonably resembles an ant.
That's a good point. Samsung deserves a little better than what the Orange Thing got.
Load More Replies...They're marked as "she" because if they were "he" they wouldn't be ants - they'd be UNCLES!
Delanie the lesbian spider. Oh my! How exquisite and delightful little creature.
A nice post about emoji ants that's funny until somebody got 'offended' by them being referred as 'she'. Guys, you're getting this gender-phobia a bit too far. Why do you have to be that afraid of saying females and males or boy or girl?
People getting offended by the sake of just being offended is just pathetic. In many insects, the male is only there to 'play' with the queen and not to become the queen like some men do. My fave is the Praying Mantis, she just decapitates her dude! Did i hurt somebody feelings? Good!
Load More Replies...from what i learned in books during my school years, almost all ants are girls, even soldiers but only queens can lay eggs. males die soon after mating
Almost all ants are females. The males are not able to sustain by themselves and are only there to fertilize eggs.
Calling them she cause they a f*****g she... being surprised someone said there are stars in the sky or the ocean is blue is dumb as hell
This post says more about the author and his/her preferences more than it does about these brands or ants...
