I worked at a bakery/cafe and a woman left a 1-star review because she tried use the drive-thru to pick up her the custom cake that she ordered. What she failed to SAY in the review was that we had her pull forward 20 feet and BROUGHT THE CAKE OUT TO HER CAR so she wouldn't have to wake up her kid! The thing that really pissed me off about it was that the owner of the place didn't say anything about THAT in her response to the review, just kissed the woman's butt in order to make sure that we "didn't lose a customer". She wouldn't have needed to be rude to the lady! Just let the readers know the other half of the story!!

Referring to Old Testament book of Leviticus stating do not mark or scar your body, which was a common practice done by other pagan religions at that time. Jewish people only refer to the Old Testament so their view on tattoos differs from Christians who also include the New Testament and there is no mention of tattoos being "bad".
I love how they'll quote OT at us, but mention even once how God kinda not so lowkey seems like a psychopath and they'll go, "Oh that's just Old Testament." Like...unless the new one involves Jesus creating a time machine to go back in time and stop his psychotic dad, it still stands as evidence.

I stopped believe and my mom just like my company there so I went with her. But at 18 I started getting tattoos. An older man I'd known all my life confronted me after a service and told me I was going to hell for marking my body with pagan symbols. I needed to repent before and I quote "god judges me unfit for heaven." He then quoted Leviticus to me. It was the last time I stepped foot In a church. It's this attitude that pushes people from the church.

It does though, in Leviticus? It depends on which translation you have whether it literally says tattoo, or just 'marks on your skin', 'marks on yourselves', etc. Don't all bibles contain Leviticus? I know there's lots of Christians who don't read/believe in the Old Testament part, but that doesn't mean it's not still part of the bible?
