I ALWAYS book an aisle. I'm slightly claustrophobic and it's just more comfortable. Every bloody time, some moron demands my seat "because they're tall" or "because I wanna sit by my buddy" or some other stupid reason. I'm not polite to them any more. Ever. No one ever asks my husband to move. I guess people figure women are easy to intimidate?

I paid for a window seat once even booked it way in advance ... some jackass decided to take it and put her kid in it >:( was hella mad I told them to move as I paid for that seat .. she was like "but my kid wants the window" I told her well You should have BOOKED THE WINDOW NOW MOVE -- she didnt and I tried to get the attendant to help and she just told me to take a seat >:( was so mad .

Nah, I'm never go info up my window seat. I'm training to be a 777-300 ER pilot and I always get the window seat. If I'm not flying the plane, I'd like to at least see the control surfaces move in the wings.
As in many of the situations in this thread a simple "go f*** yourself!" would be the proper response!
Why would you have given up a seat that you paid extra for, just because someone asked, nicely or not? Presumably, everyone had the same option, and whether she couldn't afford it or chose not to pay extra, you did. Such audacity on her part shouldn't be rewarded with any other answer than NO! from you.
Children are not entitled to things just because they're kids. I can't stand that kind of mentality. That kind of thinking is why we have so many s**t heads in the world these days. Spoiled, entitled people because parents, who already think that they're entitled, think that they're brat is too. It blows my mind some times when a child or teenager or anyone, thinks I owe them anything when I don't even know them. GTFO.
I never understand people who think they are entitled. I'm sure I would have answered her, if she had the extra money, the child could have the seat and since I was already on the plane, it would be a figure that suited me.

Elevators seem to be the same. Woman gets on with an obnoxious little kid - and he wants to push the buttons. I run my hand over the entire set of numbers (like literally pushing EVERY number) and I look her right in the face and say "Yeah, I like pushing buttons too".
Had the same thing happen to me. Columbus to California. My one trip in 20 years. I have EXTREME social anxiety so I booked and paid extra for the window seat. A woman with a 4-5 year old kid demanded I give her child my seat. I start shaking. I am not good dealing with people. she was in my face yelling, because her CHILD was more important than me, an adult. I was in tears and finally just gave her the seat. I couldn't even speak to call over the airline attendants to help- my anxiety would not let me. That was 15 years ago and I still remember like it was yesterday. Ever had an almost 8 hour long panic attack? I don't recommend it.

I pulled up and parked in a handicap accessible spot in front of the hospital (I had a legal permit) and got out the car. This man pulled his car behind mine and started calling me some of the most vile names I have ever heard in my entire life. I just looked at him, walked around the car, got Mom's walker out of the backseat and then opened her door to help her out. The guy's face went ashen and he sped away. Imagine his surprise when he got on the elevator with us.

Certain people make you wish being an @$$hole was excruciatingly painful.
Once I was on a plane, almost empty, and I'm trying to lie down, because the seets next to me were empty. So I'm getting comfotable( And I'm a 5 year old) and this Karen taps on my shoulder, shakes her head at me, and says" You're disturbing the other passangers" I just nod, but I'm thinking, What other people? There is literally 3 other 8 people on this whole plane!( I don't have pictures)
Posts like this just get me so riled up. People being so stupid and ignorant is the last thing I want to deal with. No anger to the writer, of course! Only to the idiotic people in this thread. I can't understand how people can have such a lack of compassion and empathy or understanding for other human beings, truly. To calm down I will now listen to girl in red for a bit :P

Prior to Covid I traveled the country working autoshows. A few years back I'm working the Pittsburgh. Got off work, ordered Chinese takeout from a hole in the wall. Placed my order, and then sat in the lobby staring at my phone. A white family comes in. Out of courtesy, I acknowledge them by head nodding like how black dudes greeting in passing. A few seconds goes by and the dad impatiently asks, "So are you going to seat us or what?" Mind you, I'm wearing a full suit with a magnetic name badge that clearly says my name and Ford Motor Company. This is where the story could've ended but I decided to be a d**k. So I got up, grabbed some menus, and sat them. Promptly sat my ass back down. Dad blurts out he's ready to order. When he asks why I'm not writing anything down, I reassured him I memorized everything...only to sit right back in the lobby. Dad is livid. Confronts me. Owner overhears commotion, brings out my food. Stare family dead in the eyes, point to my name badge, & strut out. Nick-Auto-...8ddb9e.jpg
