With over 284k members, the subreddit is doing very well for a community that is just over a couple of years old. The subreddit’s moderators want to show the internet what others’ experiences with people who “always get their own way and are better than everyone” have been like.
However, just because a person’s entitled, it doesn’t mean that they deserve getting hate online. For this reason, the subreddit forbids including any information that could make it possible to identify the people connected to any posts. From names and phone numbers to addresses and locations, it’s best to keep those things private. People change, after all, and you never know if somebody who was narcissistic yesterday might have turned into a Good Samaritan today.

Years ago, I worked at a store where an arrogant customer stormed in, wanting a deal because he knew the owner. "Really? Can you point him out?" The dude pointed to the delivery guy. "You obviously you don't know the owner, and even if you did, there is nothing that I can do for you with regard to pricing." He stormed out the way he came in. My coworker and I had a good laugh about it afterward.

To be honest, the self proclaimed owner is as bad as the "some white lady" that comment is incredibly racist.
"Why mention her race?" Because of white privilege, kids. We white people have a tendency to think we're entitled to things -- jobs, houses, certain behaviors, countries, etc. It's GOOD when this nonsense is called out. If it doesn't apply to you specifically as a white person, well, great. Your individual experience doesn't make this specific instance of white entitlement any less problematic.

I worked as bartender most my adult life. Never failed at any place I worked at that I'd have either the drunks upset they got cut off for being belligerent or the ones who wanted to drink top shelf doubles for price of well liquor singles would always use the "You know I'm friends with the owner". I got so used to this tactic that I started to question them WHO exactly was the owner (most didnt know a thing about owners) or I'd just say "Yep, scott has lots of friends because he's a great guy". People leave their manners at the door most of time.

70 years ago my (white) aunt worked in the heart of southern Britain in a shop called "Dorothy Perkins", which was named after a rose plant. One day a (white) customer made a complaint and, when not receiving what she wanted said "I shall take your name and complain, as I know Ms Perkins personally." Not a racist issue. Just someone being an ar*e. BTW nothing has changed in 70 years. Why is it that if people don't get what they want from the person who serves them, they threaten that person with loosing their job and livelihood?

In short, entitled people make life all about them: everything has to benefit them, everything is about them, and they believe they’re superior to everyone else. That means that the entitled rarely compromise with others, they lack empathy, and they get frustrated when the world doesn’t rush to fulfill their every whim.

I pulled up and parked in a handicap accessible spot in front of the hospital (I had a legal permit) and got out the car. This man pulled his car behind mine and started calling me some of the most vile names I have ever heard in my entire life. I just looked at him, walked around the car, got Mom's walker out of the backseat and then opened her door to help her out. The guy's face went ashen and he sped away. Certain people make you wish being an @$$hole was excruciatingly painful.
Once I was on a plane, almost empty, and I'm trying to lie down, because the seets next to me were empty. So I'm getting comfotable( And I'm a 5 year old) and this Karen taps on my shoulder, shakes her head at me, and says" You're disturbing the other passangers" I just nod, but I'm thinking, What other people? There is literally 3 other 8 people on this whole plane!( I don't have pictures)
Posts like this just get me so riled up. People being so stupid and ignorant is the last thing I want to deal with. No anger to the writer, of course! Only to the idiotic people in this thread. I can't understand how people can have such a lack of compassion and empathy or understanding for other human beings, truly. To calm down I will now listen to girl in red for a bit :P

Prior to Covid I traveled the country working autoshows. A few years back I'm working the Pittsburgh. Got off work, ordered Chinese takeout from a hole in the wall. Placed my order, and then sat in the lobby staring at my phone. A white family comes in. Out of courtesy, I acknowledge them by head nodding like how black dudes greeting in passing. A few seconds goes by and the dad impatiently asks, "So are you going to seat us or what?" Mind you, I'm wearing a full suit with a magnetic name badge that clearly says my name and Ford Motor Company. This is where the story could've ended but I decided to be a d**k. So I got up, grabbed some menus, and sat them. Promptly sat my ass back down. Dad blurts out he's ready to order. When he asks why I'm not writing anything down, I reassured him I memorized everything...only to sit right back in the lobby. Dad is livid. Confronts me. Owner overhears commotion, brings out my food. Stare family dead in the eyes, point to my name badge, & strut out. Nick-Auto-...8ddb9e.jpg
