Share on FacebookI do not think that a country where they are driving on the wrong side of the road can be taken seriously on even such trivial matters as tea or chocolate milk.
We drive on the left to annoy the french. That's a good enough reason to do anything. #freedomfries

Actually, it's scientifically proven that drinking a hot drink on a hot day cools you down. Soooo...
My Chinese friend from Shanghai always drank hot tea during the summer and August months in New England; she said it was to cool down.

Load More Replies...Ice tea and chocolate milk, are not unknown things here in England. Judging on the exchange, it seems pretty clear that the English person is being facetious/sarcastic.
Only if you're ready to float little marshmallows in your chocolate milk can you claim that is it is the same as cold cocoa.
Im not a tea guy nor a choco milk guy... but ill take 40 chicken McNuggets anytime! :)
That last Brit missed the joke completely. We have Iced Tea and chocolate milk. And we even had the KFC double down heart disease burger recently.
I'm hoping you Brits don't have our American 'Cheese Whiz'. That is not our finest idea.
Load More Replies...I drink tea. Doesn't care about if its cold or hot...... I'm from Brazil and already got my popcorn...
This reminds me of the awesome Tumblr war between Americans and Germans whether toast constitutes as bread or not.
I have to be a partial Benedict Arnold and agree that American 'Sweet Tea' is way too damn sugary, but unsweetened or lightly sweetened ice tea can be amazing. And England has an obesity rate nearly as high as the US rate, no surprise for the land of Fish N' Chips and Cadbury Eggs, you bloody fat-f***ing wankers!
I agree I prefer my tea, iced or hot, unsweetened, steeped with mint leaves is good. If I want to drink diabetes I'll go buy a Coke.
Load More Replies...i cannot stand any hot drinks (tea, coffee, cacao) with sugar in it, so coun't handle that american liquixd sugar either way. brits do it almost properly (except they put milk in it)
Americans are stupid and ignorant, especially since the donald chump era started. Fact.
Yes, but President Trump isn’t a cause. He is a symptom.
Load More Replies...And hey, sweet tea is a uniquely Southern thing in America. There are, *gasp* people here who drink it unsweet and cold. Think that will shock the British some more? I like hot chocolate in winter, but thank you, cold chocolate milk in summer. Hundred degree weather is nothing to mess around with having hot drinks. I think I'd probably melt.
Every supermarket in Holland sells different brands of iced tea. It was a hit during the hot summer months. (not for me; I don' t drink tea)
England didnt stole tea from china. It was introduce to them by the Portuguese. Whom, in fact owened half the world. Spanish owened the other half. Britain stole, trough piracy, the ships that these two countries used to transport their merchandises...
I only very recently found out that the majority of Brits drink their hot tea WITH MILK IN IT. 36 years and I just found out people drink hot tea with milk in it, my cultural education was s**t.
My burning question....what is a Graham cracker?, is he a relative of Jacob?
England already understands lots of sugar considering their "chocolate" is like 90% sugar. They think Hershey's milk chocolate is BITTER. LOLOL, I'd love to see them try dark chocolate.
Do Americans call British people English just to annoy the scots/welsh etc? Never sure if it's trolling or something else
They just don't know the difference. And I'm American.
Load More Replies...As a Chinese, the fact that they put tea in an effing milk jug is a disgrace
What is an 'effing milk jug' that WE out tea in . You are rude and very ignorant.
Load More Replies...You know what you call Britain with no tea? Bri'ain. It works better said aloud. But I don't promise that much better.
I had this happen with a Scottish friend of mine. She posted a picture of of Bruh which came in a bottle with a label similar to Lipton Iced tea over here. When I posted teh similarity, she was like "Ugh! Why do you drink that? Do you have to heat it up or something?"
@dadmonster, England never, ever owned most of the world you lunatic.
An American will apologize if the hot tea has gone cold. He will then add ice and proudly serve it as iced tea. Welcome to the South! (can we talk about iced coffee and coffee-milk (coffee syrup, yes,SYRUP, mixed in cold milk) next?
The people living in the United Kingdom, which mostly means the island of Great Britain and a bit of Ireland.
Load More Replies...Both Brits and Americans eat awful unhealthy food, you people are famous for it. But Americans drink liquid sugar, too. It's worse in my opinion. Talking about teeth - Brits have crooked teeth, which I personally like, and Americans have too straight, too white teeth, almost artificial, which I don't like. But the most important thing is to have healthy teeth. Sugar doesn't help.
American visit orthodontists from an early age and have their teeth capped, veneered, shaped, bleached, whatever. British understand that natural teeth are not brilliant white and unless they are false or doctored in some way. Simple for anyone not American complicated for you lot.
Load More Replies...I'm very confused by this. I'm not from the U.K. myself, but I know from other people that they totally have things like... pre-prepared iced tea. I get that it's comedy, but I feel like comedy needs at least a grain of truth to be funny.
Well the don't own hot chocolate either that's Mexico for that one lol. Seriously this is hilarious. Though I think yet again America won this war against England.
Agree with brits here tea comes in tea bags and is consumed hot with milk sometimes a spoon of sugar if I'm eating with the cup o tea. Plus tea outside U.K. & Ireland is weak p**s you need like three teabags.
