Someone Noticed The Subtle Way The Queen Trolled Trump, And This Theory Is Taking Internet By Storm
Donald Trump’s visit to the U.K was a hectic mess of summits, protests, golf (obvs) and tea with the Queen. That’s right, Donald Trump, hardly known for his manners and etiquette, had tea with the Queen.
Now it’s not known what Her Majesty thinks about Donald, but we can hazard a guess. One Twitter user went further and offered a quite brilliant theory, based on the Queen’s choice of brooch. While she is bound to remain neutral when it comes to political matters, people do believe that the Queen occasionally lets her true feelings known through subtle, dignified cues. The time she wore a purple hat with yellow flowers, resembling the EU flag, while addressing parliament after Brexit is just one such occasion.

Of course only Queen Elizabeth herself knows the truth, but the entire thread makes for an extremely entertaining and informative read! Exactly. :D I was very skeptical before reading it, thinking "people are going to be seeing something just because they want to" but this really doesn't seem like a big stretch to understand that it was done on purpose.

Whether or not one is a monarchist (see what I did there?!) it's difficult not to admire the queen's subtle and incisive humour and astute commentary. I am impressed. And now I have a hankering to become a royal brooch watcher, as if Bored Panda isn't sucking enough of my time already...
I am an unashamed monarchist - they cost each of us in the UK the price of a bag of chips per year. Well worth the money. They do not embarrass us in front of the world - we dont worry about them starting WW3. Endless theatre and gossip. I would hate for any old Prime-Minister who comes and goes within a couple of years to be Head of State. The Queen has no agendas and nothing to gain.
The queen gives a wholw new meaning to "statement jewellery pieces"
A political leader - president/prime-minister can resign, be impeached/sacked, or just voted out. We in the UK know we have continuity of a figurehead we can respect - thats a rare thing
Charles is a lazy whiner. Spoiled man-child. Having him as king will be no good thing.
From what I've been learning lately, bunch of history vids, she makes a serious point of not having a "political agenda". Neither did her father, at least in public. They consider it a job and they are representing what people want. Charlie may be a different kettle of fish.

Oo, and Melania, if you're reading - perhapas you could take a leaf out of the queen's book and send regular messages (and calls for help) in this fashion. Big white signs painted all over the back of coats doesn't really cut the mustard...
I just had a sudden image of the queen meeting Trump - with a message on the back of her coat "I'm a celebrity- get me out of here" - lol
I kind of feel sorry for her - wears nice clothes etc but never looks truly happy or comfortable like Michelle Obama did - maybe home life leaves something to be desired?
