I went to the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack, NY during what would have been lunchtime. I knew it wouldn’t be filled with people, but there were certain points where the silence was deafening. I tried to take pictures showing as much of the mall as I could in one frame, how all four floors of the mall were empty 90% of the time. Big expanses of space, where people would normally crowd into each other, were just bare. The occasional person would walk by, but social distancing wasn’t difficult for me to do here.

Ooooh! This is my hometown mall!!! We went here on a field trip once before the mall was open and it looked exactly like this.
Went and drove around Baybrook Mall in Houston. It's one of two malls in all of Houston that still turns a profit each year. There was maybe 50 cars parked all around it. There's over 8,000 parking spots.
ive been to this mall. its massive. i cant believe its open . i live in staten island ny and our mall is closed
This is my local mall too. I'm not much of a mall person so I've only checked the whole place out once. Kind of afraid of the place since it was built on a swamp. I'm waiting for the whole thing to sink into the muck one day! Maybe I'll go look around now that it's empty. Good opportunity to try out my Wile E. Coyote Acme Rocket Skates...
