Balding Man’s Haircut: New Form Of Punishment For Your Misbehaving Kid

Nowadays, when spanking your kid with a belt is illegal, humiliation remains the most effective form of punishment. Therefore, Russell Frederick, a barber from suburban Altanta, has come up with a very ingenious form of discipline. He can give your child an “old-man” free of charge haircut as a punishment of misbehaving. If you come to A-1 Kutz barbershop and ask for “Benjamin Button Special”, Russel will shave your boy’s hair off his crown so that he looks like a balding grandpa.

This method was used on the barber’s 12-year-old son Rushawn, whose grades “dramatically skyrocketed” after getting such a haircut. The humiliation received from teaser classmates made him stronger and more devoted to getting good grades. Rushawn even started calling himself an “old man Jenkins”.

What a horrible thing to do.. Instead of connecting with your child and letting him see the importance of studying you bully him..

Great. So it either makes them callus up, shames them into submission or completely ruins their confidence from being teased. Great.

How is psychologically screwing up our children okay? Shaming has gotten out of hand!

Humiliation does not grow stronger or tougher people. Humiliation makes people angry and ashamed and carry a grudge around.

There's something very disturbing about this treatment, and the kid looks ugly with that old, bald man look!

Destroying our children's sense of self worth is worse than criminal. It's destructive mentally and emotionally.

I think the haircut is better than physical forms of punishment. Hair grows back.

Any kind of punishing a child is wrong. I recommend to read Jesper Jul, he has revolutionary ideas about education (very effective,no force)

This is unfair. I know It sounds dumb, but the way we choose to express ourselves should not be taken away from anyone, even as a form of punishment.

I would put my father in the most abusive, uncaring, disgusting retirement home possible, if this had ever happened to me... No joke. What a POS.

Absolutely ridiculous! My brother gave my youngest son $100 to shave his head to look like him years ago during summer break from school.

I think, in view of the fact that the punishment only lasted a few days, and seemed to improve the situation, that it was a good idea!
