Grown Man Tries To Shame Mom For Breastfeeding In Public, Regrets It Immediately
It doesn’t matter how old a child is, their parents always have the right and the duty to call out their stupid sh*t. When photographer Tanja Krstic Radusinovic was breastfeeding her 9-month-old son at a pool, a man – who appeared to be in his 40s – approached her. Despite the fact that she was feeding her little one under a towel, he said Tanja shouldn’t be doing it there, in public. Luckily, his mother overheard the conversation and decided to step in.
“This was at one of the hotels/resorts in Las Vegas, NV,” Radusinovic told Bored Panda. And it wasn’t the first time when someone attempted to forbid her from the motherly duty. “Too many moms have been shamed for breastfeeding.”
Her initial reaction was confusion. “It’s normal. I can’t believe that grown-up men – and women – would be offended by a baby eating.”
Tanja said the woman was in her 70s, small and skinny. But don’t be fooled by her innocent looks; the savage lady still knows how to school her boy in a way he will never forget. Scroll down to read how Radusinovic remembers the story and let us know what you think about it in the comments.

People rushed to share their opinions about the story
So, here's a twist. I was too anaemic to breast feed my first born..you need blood to make milk and I'd lost a lot having him. And guess what? You get hated for bottle feeding too! I had other mothers telling me I was a bad mother for bottle feeding my baby. Then I had another baby and I did breast feed him and I got a different demographic of Kevins telling me I shouldn't breast feed him in public. I came to the conclusion some asshats just really like having a reason to tell someone else they are wrong.
Oh yeah, I'm definitely not a mother, but I've met enough to know that when you have a baby it suddenly becomes EVERYONE'S BUSINESS for way too many people.
Load More Replies...I can't think of a single reason why one would be offended or disagree with breastfeeding. It must surely be the most natural event in human history for a mother to breastfeed her baby. Some people are such daft plums.
Like, seriously! WTF do people think breasts are for anyway?! Their whole purpose is to feed babies! Just because men decided that they were 'sexy', we have to deal with this BS. Geez. (Not a mom, will never be a mom, but I will defend to the death another woman's right to feed their baby in the way nature intended.)
Load More Replies...Unfortunately, there are too many men like him... Scratch that, I meant to say immature manboys.
Load More Replies...I don't understand men who have an issue with breastfeeding in public but actively stare at naked women on social media without an issue. smh...Kevin is a big jerk
My mother will be 70 this year, and I swear she gives fewer f***s with each passing day... I think that attitude starts building around age 40, as that's when I felt it start happening to me too. LOL
Load More Replies...Can we all just calm down, eat a few slices of cheese and be more like Kevin's mom?
I don't understand why people view breastfeeding as sexual??? Like it's literally an INFANT and they're just eating?? Breastfeeding mothers aren't flashing anyone, they just want to feed their babies. If handle that, you're the problem
I think it's more a problem of Kevin (and people like him) somehow seeing breasts as nothing but sexual objects. And thus, breastfeeding is seen as being a sexual act. .... effed up.
Load More Replies...This is a little off topic but I didn't know this until very recently...maybe because I've never had children. When I was born in 1967 (yes I'm old but I still look good..ha ha jk) new mothers were very discouraged from breastfeeding and I guess it was not the norm. When my mom told her doctor that she planned on breastfeeding me and my brother he outright scolded her and everyone gave her a VERY hard time. She had to really stand firm to do it when the medical community was giving her such a hard time. Her pediatrician was a schoolmate of hers too. Amazing how things change. It shows that attitudes can be mutable.
This doesnt have anything to do with breastfeeding, but it is HILARIOUS! So, one day, in class (5th grade science), the yeacher asked something along the lines of " whats the most common way we think of getting calcium?" One kid raised his hand excitedly. "Yes?" He happily blurted out; "Titty milk!" When i got home that day, i told my step dad the story. (This kid got in trouble) My step dad replies with; "Well, technically he isnt wrong. Why the f**k is he in trouble? All milk comes from titties! Milk comes from cow titties, goat milk comes from goat titties. Not a big deal. Hes right. Titty milk!" My step dad is 40...
if that man thinks that it is THAT disgusting for a mother to feed her child in public than he has serious issues
I don't understand or agree with the negative attitude of some towards what is one of the most natural and beautiful interactions between a mother and baby. I am aware that people do unfortunately experience ignorant and negative comments for simply feeding their child in public, however, I'm unsure about this particular 'story'.If this 'grown man' was indeed swimming with his mother, perhaps he has learning difficulties or some other issues and doesn't understand the inappropriate nature of his comments. I breast fed my son and would have been very upset, angry and embarrassed if someone had made a comment to me like this but I'm aware that not everything we read on the internet is true, or else we don't have all the actual facts, just one persons account. Of course the person who made the comments could just be an ignorant a** but we'll never know because we weren't there.
:) thank you...that was my thought as well! There were a few little flags here that might point to the grown man having learning challenges....but as you said we only get one point of view and we'll never know. Regardless, sounds like Kevin got an earful
Load More Replies...I don't get it. Here it is 2018 and people are still outraged at a mother breast feeding in public? She had the baby under s towel so it wasn't as if she just whipped out her breast for all to see! She was discrete about it. This guy sounds like the type to watch porn and think nothing is wrong about it but turn all prudish when in reality, breast feeding is as natural as breathing air. Stupid man. I am glad his mother called him out on it and anyone listening to this learned a valuable lesson here.
I think breastfeeding IN a swimming pool is gross and unhygienic for the baby and the people swimming in there. Or was she not IN the pool?
She was AT the pool, not IN the pool. She even had a towel over her son, as she was trying to nurse him to sleep.
Load More Replies...I imagine there are people showing a LOT more boob at a pool than she was. Ugh. People suck sometimes. Maybe Kevin needs to trade places with the baby, since he was acting like one.
Way back in 1991 I was nursing my daughter, under a blanket in the food court at a mall, old guy walks up to me and informed me that I should be doing that in the bathroom, I told him I would feed the baby in a public bathroom as soon as he sat down and ate his supper in there, he said he wouldn't do that and wandered away.
Breasts aren't even sexual objects though. Men just decided that they were appealing, but the main purpose of them was to breastfeed.
I had to travel a lot with both my kids when they were infants. And had to breastfed them on almost all the connecting airports. Though I haven't met any Kevin yet I remember distinctly on jfk airport I was alone with the 3 month old. He was crying I had to feed him .I didn't have any towel handy a man understood my situation and stood with his back to me right in front of me so I could feed my baby. He was so large almost covered all of me. I thanked him after but he smiled and gone.
I legit thought that Kevin were breastfed until he was 18 years old. Thank goodness it's not like that lmao
If anyone says anything, lay down the law : Moms have the right to breastfeed A. NY. WHERE. Period. And give them a finger, just for fun.
Stupid guy. What's the matter with men anyway? Or more specifically, American men? I've seen women nursing their babies at public church events here in Montreal, and nobody made any comments. But white Americans seem to be such prudes. Maybe it matches their hypocrisy?
If only there were more mothers like that out there to slap their sons around the ears with their tongue
What an arsehole! Breastfeeding is one of the most natural things a human can do. If a kid needs nutrition, you might not have time or acess to a bathroom or prvacy to do it. He needs a good punch in the testicles, that one. Good thing mom was there to step in. By the way, why was a forty year old man at the pool with his MOM? He must lead a sad life.
screw the bathroom! i wouldn't have my lunch in the bathroom, why would i BF my baby there?

You probably got downvoted, because you assumed that this happened somewhere in Europe, when it likely occurred somewhere near where she lives, which is Las Vegas.
Load More Replies...Breastfeeding is natural, etc. and she didn't do anything wrong. But I think you should always wear a cover.
I have issues with women who breastfeed in my face when i politely move away when their tits are hanging out. If i move, and you spitefully come stand in my face and start screaming at me, youre the one with the issues not me.
We all know that has never happened to you. Breastfeeding is not about you.
Load More Replies...Maybe she was, I don’t know, visiting him? What’s wrong with it?
Load More Replies...There is NOTHING sexual about breastfeeding a baby! Just because our culture (Western) focuses too much at female breasts being sexual objects of women's body, it does not mean its breasts only (or even main!) function.
