Every year is notorious for different reasons. 2019 was the year of Trump’s public impeachments, full of highs and lows. And 2020… do we even really need to go there? I mean, this notorious sum up we published last year should do the job instead.

And it turned out that the year 2021 was no less messed up. With the pandemic becoming the new normal and changing the ways we live beyond recognition, making the real estate prices soar and leaving millennials in an eternal state of rental despair, the time of uncertainty proved to be the perfect breeding ground for false assumptions, fake news, and totally crazy myths. And boy, we had a ton of them.

So should we just give this year a medal for basically the dumbest 365 days in modern history? Well, below are some posts to prove we should. If not, we may wait for the next year to see if that one’s gonna be up for the challenge.

as someone who has been homeless outside we would rather sleep UNDER the benches to prevent being soaked by the rain | here in belgium they do their upmost best to prevent the homeless from sleeping in.. places put poles in any flat surface, block porchessend policemen to arrest the homeless ( includeing searching them which means getting us naking yes even underage teenage me! cops do this! so really sleeping inside of a station where there are CAMERAS and you know people will tell on you and get the police ((some people-quisling even offer to take you in call the cops when you're not looking keep an eye on you and get you arrested so we don't stay in the streets being completely harmless but stay in a cell after having been stripped!!)

It’s safe to say that this year proved to be a perfect breeding ground for all levels of stupidity. From anti-vaxxers coming up with the most insane conspiracy theories to an unprecedented spike in online disinformation, people were not shy to come across as, let’s say, not exactly the brightest ones.

At the same time, human intelligence varies astonishingly and it’s pretty hard to label one person dumb and another one smart. After all, even the smartest bunch can be prone to stupid decisions and behaviors. And who are we to judge them?

If I had received that assignment I wouldn’t give an F minus because that would be too high. I would give a Z minus (which I know it’s made up but I think we should make a whole other grading system for people like this) I would only give a Z minus if it was well written but I doubt that would be possible for a person with an IQ score in the negatives.

I don't know who's dumber, the girl or the boyfriend. What are they going to live on if he doesn't get an education? And don't go feminist on me people, she clearly isn't the type to get an education for herself if the most important thing to her is that "my boyfriend turned down 5 fully paid scholarships just to stay here with me, because all I care about is that a man validate me and make me feel pretty and wanted even if it costs turning down 5 paid scholarships."

An 8 Year Old Shouldn’t Have To Do This

Fishsticks011 Report

Just because someone posts a thing you find dumb or don’t agree with, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re that—this is plain fact. Nevertheless, some people seem to be really confident in making bold and improvident statements. Meanwhile, others tend to stop, reflect and even criticize themselves before acting boldly and jumping to conclusions.

Well it turns out that confidence is a powerful thing. In most cases, it’s totally productive and we’d all benefit a fair share if we worked on having more of it. Also, too much self-criticism is destructive and traps us in an eternal limbo. So to find out when having too much bold confidence does no good, we spoke with Susan Petang, a certified life coach and the author of “The Quiet Zone Coaching.”

People don't get the irony El Muerto. So, for those who are immune to sarcasm (or dumb), El Muerto's point is that Jesus DIDNT charge people for food, whereas republicans etc., would charge you for air if they could.

How is helping people and everyone living on this earth from the natural resources that are already here when we were born bad? That's literally what we were created to do! Born into a world where everything we all could possibly need to eat, build, thrive, create and exist. It was freely given to us by God or whoever created it and all we had to do is live and exist. How on earth is it bad for things such as natural resources to be free? If we all are getting what we literally need to live. Food, water, housing, clothing, and anything else us humans could create along the way. What is the problem with us all enjoying it and helping maintain it all? It was meant to be that way in the 1st place. I just can't understand how folks can't see that. Nor do I understand why if you've already got what you need and are comfortable. Why are you against other humans having that as well? It's like y'all want people to be starving, homeless, unhealthy, and suffering. We all are on a planet that can and does meet every single humans needs. But somehow someone has put a stop to everyone being okay, having enough food, and just living life. People are literally going out of their way to set up a system of money that hurts those of us that don't have it, or don't earn enough. When it's not even the money that we need. It's the resources. People have royally messed up and knowing it's like this when it does not have to be. Just makes me angry and heartbroken for not only myself, but each and everyone of you as well.

Greed. Once a person is infected with greed they lose sight of balance, and, worse, they start to think that they "Deserve" their property that they have "earned" (through exploiting the labour of others). “At the very first, when he returned to the country from overseas, he had ordered that no one in the society should possess anything of his own, that everything should be held in common and distributed to each according to his needs.” - the most influential Father of the Church, Saint Augustine, who died in the year 430 Go sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you shall have a treasury in the heavens, and come follow me. - Matt 19:21 "inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.” - matt 25:40

Part 2, part 1 below: One thing I learned from one of these fucktard evangelicals that worked for one of the more prominent Oklahoma preacher is that checks made out to the church those funds go to the church. If, however, the person writing the check made the check out to the preacher...well then, the funds go to the preacher. The funds that go to the preacher are theirs to keep. Guess what? Churches, priests (or whatever your version calls them) and religion in general doesn't care one bit about the person behind the money. They only care about the money. Try to get the likes of Kenneth Copeland or Dollar Creflo to come and speak at your church for free. I can guarantee that they won't do it unless there is a financial benefit to them down the line.

Part 1: God simply can't afford for people to think for themselves. Make no mistake, this isn't a recent development. You'll have to look no further than Old Testament (OT) compared to New Testament (NT). Under OT the people had to, daily, bring all manner of animals to the priests so that the priests could "offer" a burnt sacrifice to "god". Eventually the people started seeing that this "burnt offering" wasn't really working for them so they decided to quit bringing those animals for "offering" to the priests. The priests, being wily and knowledgeable in the practice of shenanigans quickly came up with an alternative. Their alternative was that one "person" died for all of the sins you would ever commit. from birth to death, but tithes are still welcome...at least if you want to prosper ten-fold over an imaginary baseline.

Fake argument for a desired answer. Free thinking is supported under anarchy, libertarian, or communism\socialism and is mostly anti-religion. This argument seems to achieve both aspects.

I Think You Will Survive The Vaccine

I Think You Will Survive The Vaccine

lucynyu13 Report

Susan explained that “overconfidence can cause us to make big mistakes, or take unnecessary risks,” so no, the saying ‘you can never be confident enough’ is not exactly right. “Being overconfident can also contribute to us feeling entitled, and not considering the feelings of others,” she said.

“It's important to have a healthy sense of self-esteem and self-confidence, that's rooted in reality, and consider the needs and feelings of others, too,” Susan said. She suggested asking yourself “Where do you fit into the network of people that surround you? How are you impacting their world?”

Moreover, in order to make sure that your actions are fair and not over-confident, Susan suggests considering a couple of things beforehand.

“A) Is what I plan on doing going to hurt someone?

B) Is what I plan on doing going to hurt me?

C) Am I willing to accept the potential consequences of this action?

D) Is this action something that fits into my value system? Would the person I aspire to do this?”

Understanding the consequences of your actions also plays a huge part in coming across as a smart person. This is not to say that consequences are unimportant, since they make us learn lessons, but in many instances, people are not open to any transformation coming from them, because it entails acknowledging the fact you were wrong.

For example, spreading fake news, like that there are microchips inserted with the covid jab, may seem innocent at first sight. But it contributes to profound consequences that include: distrust in the media; undermining the democratic process; fueling the platforms for harmful conspiracy theories and hate speech; and the spread of false or discredited science.

In its profound sense, fake news creates a false reality that not just one or two people buy into, but thousands, and it creates a reality that those creating the fake news can manipulate to whatever they want it to be. Those lies, if continued to be perpetrated, can turn deadly or threaten societal stability.

Sadly, there's no proper system in place for transparency and accountability when it comes to what’s shared and who shares things on the internet. It’s still a grey area, where huge amounts of info are regurgitated on a daily basis. Should those people be held accountable? And this is an open-ended question, at least for now.

All the members of the band are of Armenian descent, and each has a terminal point in their family history where they can no longer trace their lineage due to the Armenian genocide that Turkey initiated during World War 1. They have been trying to raise awareness of this event since the foundation of their band, which was named System of a Down after a poem written by backup vocalist/guitarist Daron Malakian which describes the erasure of an entire generation of Armenians.
