I am Eleonora Costi, an Italian photographer. I've traveled with my drone almost all over the world. In 2020, due to COVID-19, I had to stop. During the quarantine, I sold my first online course on drone photography, and as soon as the lockdown was over, I decided to focus on the beauties of Italy. My goal is to create a photo series using a drone, showcasing all Italian regions to help my country recover from these difficult times.

The whole world knows Italy, but seeing it from a bird's-eye view is another thing completely. So here are the drone pictures from above the splendid Puglia region, which is on the heel of Italy's “boot." This region combines fairy-tale cottages, Baroque Italian architecture, and some of the best sandy beaches in mainland Italy, and here are the top places to visit.

If you want to see more of my drone photos, check out my previous posts on Bored Panda here, here, and here.

Since I was a child I have been lucky enough to travel a lot and growing up I realized that all those places, all the faces, cultures, and experiences I had lived, slowly disappeared into my memories. That's why I approached photography, it was the only way to make my memories immortal. And that's what still drives me to travel and photograph.

That's incredible. Building so close to the edge is amazing!

Over the years I have turned this passion into a job and now I work full time in photography and online content creation.

My advice for all those who are starting this path is to let yourself be guided by instinct. Photography is something incredibly personal, it's our unique way of looking and seeing things.

We just have to learn to put our inner world in our photographs, letting ourselves be inspired and guided by what we notice or what we like without being influenced by others. The result will necessarily be something unique.

I like being able to see and show others the beauties of our planet, both the natural one and the one created by man, which is why most of my photos are of landscapes and cities.

I believe and hope that my photographs leave in those who look at them a sense of amazement and wonder because it is the same as I feel in taking them.

I always try in my projects to convey in the viewer the same feeling, the same emotion that I felt in the exact moment of the shot.

In recent years, I have been focusing a lot on aerial photography and on my social channels, I publish my adventures and travels in Europe and beyond, but seen from above.

It was gorgeous. Like a thousand white castles held up in the clouds.

What intriguing roofs! Is there a story as to why they're made that way?
