Driving The Wild Atlantic Way In Ireland Felt Like Checking An Important Bucket-List-Item

After having visited Irelands citys more than once I decided to explore it's wild nature - and was absolutely stunned by its beauty and roughness.

I traveled the Wild Atlantic Way which is a 2,500 km long coastal road leading from the very south of Ireland, passing the amazing city of Galway and ending in Derry in the far north of Ireland. It is often referred to as the most beautiful and scenic coastal roads in europe and as far as I can judge this is absolutely true.

Hundreds of small villages were on my way and I had a very warm welcome in every single one of them. As my journey started early April, the wheather was not always sunny. But in Ireland you either have good wheather or you have irish wheather - which is good, because it's irish.

I once left the accomodation to find the bluest of skies only to protect myself and my camera against heavy rain only 15 minutes later. The Canon almost didn't make it back home but I returned with 3,200 photos and want to share the most powerful ones with you.
