50 Of The Best Reactions People Had To Trump Losing The Election
Donald Trump won more than 71 million votes, the second-highest total in American history. Nationally, he has more than a 47% share of his vote and has an extraordinary hold over large swathes of this country that has brought a near cult-like devotion among many of his supporters. But he still lost the election to Joe Biden. This defeat makes Trump one of only four incumbents in the modern era not to get another four years. He also has become the first president to lose the popular vote in consecutive US elections.
He refused to accept the result, accusing media outlets that called the race for Joe Biden of colluding with the president-elect in trying to steal the White House. The voters, however, did not. Everyone from celebrities to Internet meme pages has been sharing their reactions to the race both in the streets and online, and many of these thoughts are definitely worthwhile. Here are some of them.

With his triumph, Biden, who turns 78 later this month, fulfilled his decades-long ambition in his third bid for the White House, becoming the oldest person elected president.
The result also provided a historical moment for Biden's running mate, Senator Kamala Harris of California, who will become the first woman to serve as vice president.
On Saturday night, Biden appeared in front of supporters at a drive-in rally in Wilmington, Delaware, and claimed the presidency and called on the country to reunite after what he described as a toxic political interlude.
Donald Trump, on the other hand, could lose more than just the presidency. Twitter has confirmed that if Trump leaves office, he will no longer receive special treatment as a "newsworthy individual".
Twitter's policy around what the company calls newsworthiness protects certain people — such as elected officials with more than 250,000 followers — from having their accounts suspended or banned for rule infractions that would lead average users to severe penalties.
Why y'all downvoting this? "Mensch" is a Yiddish compliment...
Load More Replies...My 89 year old Southern, white grandmother despised Trump. She'd say she couldn't understand why anyone would support someone "so damned stupid.". She passed in July. I went to her grave Saturday and told her the great news.
So sorry for your loss. She seemed like a wonderful lady. I'll bet she's smiling from Heaven now.
;-; thats really funny, but I don't want to say that because of how bad I fell...
Hope you didn't hurt yourself too much on your fall.
Load More Replies...I grew up in a largely Jewish neighborhood of MLPS. Best place ever. I haven't heard "Bubby" in a long time. Miss those days.
i’m very sorry to hear about his bubby :’( she seemed like a very well humoured lady. i hope she’s happy in heaven <333
I know that’s a complement, but don’t know what it means, could somebody clarify?
Load More Replies...It will also include a loose folder of unintelligible all cap tweets.
Both very funny and very moving all in the same post. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
You can tell that this isn't a message from Donald J. Trump, because the spelling is all correct, and there isn't any wrong grammar.
"He hadn't even finished coloring the second one." The only books were coloring books. :)
Load More Replies...That was a Dubya Joke, not Trump. Dubya is George Dubya Bush in case you did not know.
Don't think the first book had anything in it . . . Maybe note for more "Hamburglers"..
I don’t understand what you’re trying to convey with this comment...what does that mean?
Load More Replies...I miss my bubbly, too. Yours sounds like she was great fun to be around.
I also read this during the George W. Bush administration. Republicans: not renowned for intellect.
Wow as a fellow jew how can you support biden when he doesn't support israel.
I think this originated about the Reagan Library, but it's a gift that keeps on giving. It reminds me how much I miss Reagan's and the Bushs' comparative statesmanship.
That first tweet is a bot. There are hundreds exactly like it with some variant, sometimes it says "I'm moving to Alaska" "I'm moving to Hawaii" Congrats on not knowing all of your own States in your own country
Yeah, Trump’ll probably lock himself in the White House, board up the windows, and use all of his supporters as a human shield.
I just hope he wil be remembered for what he was : a lying, racist, sexist, mysoginist, colluding rampant slug.
If anyone hasn't seen Chappelle's SNL appearance, I really recommend it. "I would implore everybody who's celebrating today to remember, it's good to be a humble winner. Remember when I was here four years ago, remember how bad that felt? Remember that half the country right now still feels that way,"
I LOVE how people have reinvented the Barack/Joe meme with Kamala!! Oh happy day!! LOL
Edit: while this tweet is fake and made for meme purposes only, the event was not fake.
