Pizza Guy Sees Dog Running Towards Him At 2AM While Woman Shouts “Shoot Her”, Reaches For His Gun
351Kviews
Naming your pet is usually a joyous experience, your new friend is going to be with you for a lifetime and you want him or her to feel a part of the family. But you would never expect that the name you give might one day put your buddy in danger, would you?
That’s precisely what happened to this lady, when Imgur user AKghandi showed up at her house at 2am with a pizza delivery. Like many folk in Alaska, AKghandi was armed. When he saw a dog running at him, followed by a woman apparently shouting “SHOOT HER” over and over again, he reached for his gun and readied himself to take aim.
Luckily for this unfortunately named pooch, it was all a big misunderstanding. Scroll down to check out what happened for yourself, and let us know what you think in the comments! (Facebook cover image: Evcabartakova )

My goodness, I hope you told the lady how dangerous this name is to her dog. I don't want to think about what could've happend to the poor doggo if this had happend to someone armed with a fear of dogs.
Love the logic. The name of the dog is dangerous not the guns. Murica in a nutshell.
Well, the guns are problematic, too. I don't disagree with you there. But one is easily fixed, the other a slow process at best. I don't think it's so illogical to say that the name could have been disastrous. Besides, even where I live (Canada) where people don't just walk around with guns all the time, a name like that could be harmful. What if there was an armed police officer nearby?
Also from Canada here, I totally pictured someone without a gun, or any other sort of weapon initially and someone yelling "Shoot her" is a still quick way to get the dog or person hurt.
*mic drop*

Of course it's a name and human's stupidity. Guns are just tools, like knives. You can use it to hurt someone, defender yourself or cut bread. Human can be bad, never the tool

"Better to be wrong and alive than right and dead."
Am I the only one who finds it not normal that people casually carry guns while delivering pizzas, name of the dog notwithstanding?
In Alaska? No, sounds pretty normal actually. Alaska is still a frontier, even in the city areas, and the mentality is pretty solidly baked in there.
It is Alaska after all therefore one better be armed with a gun. Otherwise perhaps not; depending upon many other varibles.
am kind of concerned that the pizza delivery guy carries a gun - is ir really that dangerous a job?
I mean - the adress gets lost in translation at the pizza shop - he goes to the wrong house - the householder also has a a gun and wonders why a stranger is hammering on his door at midnight - shoots first and asks questions later
These titles for the articles are getting more and more misleading... nothing in this story escalated at all.... the dog ran, nothing happened, dog went home. Wow, crazy!
Welcome to Bored Panda where all the titles are clickbait. We hope you enjoy your stay!

Article site on the internet uses clickbait, and you won't believe this guy's response!
This site has really gone downhill from a couple years ago.
The whole story smells like BS
There, the author changed the title. Happy?
Apparently still not good enough ;)
I once read about a man who had stray dog. He didn’t like the dog but the dog liked him so he would always yell at it “Go away, God dammit” or “Leave me alone, God dammit” etc. So the dog assumed its name “goddammit” and responded as such
Reminds me of some old Bill Crosby stand up comedy (I had his vinyl record as a kid). Bill said that up to the age of 6 he thought his name was Jesus Christ, and his older brother thought his name was God Dammit.
Cosby.
