Couples Found A Way To Include Their Dogs Into Their Wedding And It’s Absolutely Pawsome
Gil and Luna, like many couples, love their dogs and want to include them in everything they do. Their wedding is no exception, but how to incorporate them tastefully?
Making wedding puppy portraits is the easy solution, get them nicely groomed and snap away. But Gil and Luna went for something more imaginative than that. Einstein, a 3-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, and Chimney, a 10-year-old Jack Russell and Pug mix, were forever immortalized as part of the topper for the couple’s gorgeous wedding cake, and they are just too cute!
It turns out that there is an increasing trend for this kind of thing, as more and more people seek to doggify their big day. There are a huge range of options available for those who want to include their precious pups in their nuptials, from doggy themed cakes and toppers to ring bearing collars.

I love the concept of the one with the dog (golden retriever?) hiding under the cake.
To come home after a hard day to a loving heart and a warm kiss is great, but coming home to two or more? That’s HEAVEN ON EARTH!
I like the cake with the little golden retriever pup peeking out from under the layers of fondant.
The one with the doggie figurine holding the "I do too!" sign melted my heart <3 <3
Our dogs are everything to us if we had them when we got married we would have included them in the wedding .. we make sure they are fully involved in everything .. we are even making sure the house we are building is dog friendly.. the window in front was not low enough for our girl to see out so it is being changed.. she has to be able to look out the window.. and she needs to be able to lay on her ottoman and see out - Lower that window.. the dog comes first.
As a temporary quick fix could you build her a little set of stairs with a good resting platform at the top so she see out that window ?

they love unconditional, and always happy to see you when you come in the door even if you only went to the letterbox and stayed a bit longer than usual
We made wine labels for our wedding that featured our cat, Frank, on the white wine label and our dog, Emma, on the red :)
My dog would just eat the cake all in one gulp. This is why he's not included, lol. But he does say "I do" to loving us daily and we do it back!
Some of those ideas are really cute, just hope all of that stuff is eatable. Uneatable stuff on cakes is just...weird.
It's rare for anything on a cake to be inedible outside of the structure and electrical/light components. It's a point of pride that cake is, in fact, cake. As in "Holy s***, this looks REAL! I can't believe it's made of *cake/sugar/fondant/tootsie rolls*. Cake toppers are the exception to that rule. Fondant and modeling chocolate are most common. Fondant taste pretty crappy. Like clay. Modeling chocolate taste pretty good but it grosses me out to think of how long it was manipulated in the hands. That's a personal issue though. If you're building a figure or something you're rolling it your hands and pinching and pulling and manipulating it to get your shapes. It's kind of common not to use gloves...it just really grosses me right the heck out. Anyway the awesome frosting is under the fondant so don't waste time or calories on the stuff that taste like drywall, instead pig out on buttercreme.

We have four cats and they all appear in our wedding album! We also had a cake topper made of fondant of us in our wedding clothes with our four kitties. :-) It's been two and a half years and we still have the cake topper (the fondant hardens like a rock). Nadine-Taq...17e935.jpg
I have a dog to and I love the golden retriever puppy sticking out
Fair enough. We all do this living thing differently :)

Yeah we did. We asked out guests to bring their dogs too. We had a doggy creche!

If I ever get married the theme will be Lord of the rings and ferrets. Lots of ferrets and dwarves, axes and hobbits. :D
I love all these beautiful cakes, but now I want to eat cake. Lots of cake.
Hey they are part of the family, so what a awesome way to include them.

This was the topper I bought for my daughter's wedding last year. Actually made custom from photos of them, photos of her dress, and photos of their dogs. topperforc...777c03.jpg
I feel so sorry for these people. They obviously have no love for eachother given the fact that they need to hide behind their animals. When I married my beautiful wife, we already had a dog whom we both love. There was no unadulterated desire for us to tell the world "see we really love eachother, we have a dog: This is so embarrassing and I hate all of these people.
