Woman Overwhelmed When Her Rescue Pit Bull Places Her 11 Newborn Puppies Into Her Lap
When Grayce the rescue pit bull gave birth to 11 puppies, she put all of them into her foster mom’s lap, one by one. “I think she feels unsure still as a new mom,” Stevoni Wells Doyle tells The Dodo. “And she needed love and reassurance from someone she loves and trusts.”
The woman says Grayce had been neglected in her previous home, and “needed a safe environment to have her pups.” Doyle, who has fostered hundreds of dogs before, believes that animals need us: “We are their voice and we need to protect them.” However, never before has Doyle experienced being handed in puppies by a dog mum in such a touching way. “I was honored that she choose me to trust with her pups and herself,” Doyle says. “I’m still overwhelmed with her love.”
Grayce and her pups will be ready for adoption in 8 weeks through the group called Rescue Rovers (Utah families only).

There are some aggressive pitties, but most of them are mushpots who only want to be loved. :)

My cat placed all her kittens on my neck, while I was asleep. I think they just need to be with you, but don't want to leave their babies behind. She wants the family together.
Grayce knows who saved her and she knows she can trust you. That is special. We have rescue dogs - when you earn their trust it is an amazing thing. Watching them as they come into their own over time. She's a beautiful dog and must be a smart cookie to learn you are safe so quickly. As for being covered in wriggly puppies - the best thing ever!
*GASP* I adopted my border collie mix from Rescue Rovers!!! They are such a great organization. If they hadn't rescued him, he would've been euthanized at 4 months old in an overcrowded shelter. They took great care of him until I took over. And now he's snuggling with me in my bed as I type this. He has no idea that he also rescued me during a horribly difficult time in my life. I love him more than anything or anyone in the world right now. I owe Rescue Rovers big time!!!
So wonderful to know you are making a difference in the mind of just one being, overwhelmed in crisis. Many thanks to your good work! signed Grace and the rest of humanity.#Tippingthebalanceforgood
I want a dog to do that to me! That's so frickin cute!! The puppies are adorable!
Awwh.. it's like she just wanted to be reassured she was doing it right :)
That is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Mesmerising, she totally trusts you.

I hope to someday be in a situation to adopt a pit. They are the best!

This is exactly what I need after all this Trump c**p. This is adorable 😍. I had a pit bull a few years ago who sadly passed but I can tell this is how I think of him and his breed. They are beautiful, loving creatures who just need love and nurturing. Miss u bud😢
A sample of love and composition is rear to find this days. Just the moment of sharing and trust is worth a world, thank you for sharing
It's a bit sad when you realize she's only a foster mother - this dog has grown to trust her and will soon be taken away and given to a stranger.
Hopefully that won't be the case. She could easily become a "failed foster", which is essentially a person who ends up adopting their foster.

She didnt breed it, she fostered the pregnant dog three weeks prior it giving birth...
Load More Replies...She was already pregnant. I've purchased dogs from this organization before. They usually spay/neuter all their dogs. The vast majority of their dogs come from overcrowded animal shelters. The dogs that are next in line to be euthanized (simply because they weren't adopted fast enough) are adopted by Rescue Rovers & placed into foster homes until they can find their "forever home"
