Dogs are protective of their owners, but Cyrus, a 2-year-old Bullmastiff from Perth, Western Australia, takes it to a whole new level. He watches his owner Lauren Birney all the time, literally. And it started getting awkward.
“I have this theory that he constantly stares at me and creeps on me because he just likes to know where I am and what I am doing all the time!” Birney told Bored Panda. “Sometimes I have no idea that he is creeping on me until I get up off a seat or look around the room and find he will be standing behind an object with his head sticking out staring at me.
“Apart from being a convicted creeper, Cyrus is also a life saver,” Birney added. “He donates blood every 4 months at WAVES emergency vet here in Perth. He saves the lives of other dogs who need blood donations in emergencies!”

And it started getting awkward
“Sometimes I have no idea that he is creeping on me until I get up off a seat or look around the room…”
“…and find he will be standing behind an object with his head sticking out staring at me,” Birney told Bored Panda
“It’s definitely creepy!”
“But I wouldn’t have it any other way”
“I have this theory that he constantly stares at me and creeps on me because he just likes to know where I am and what I am doing all the time!”
“He has always been such a loveable beast who would do anything to get my attention”
“Whether it be subtle barks to get me to look in his direction…”
“…and lately he has taken up the magical art of creeping”
“Apart from being a convicted creeper, Cyrus is also a life saver”
“He donates blood every 4 months at WAVES emergency vet here in Perth”
“He saves the lives of other dogs who need blood donations in emergencies!”
Thank you, Lauren Birney, for talking to Bored Panda about your wonderfully creepy dog!

Share on FacebookSo funnyyyyy! I had a lovely dog I took from the animal shelter and since that day she followed me like I had honey on my butt. She died a few years ago and still miss my Suku ('sugar' in Papiamentu, our local language at Curacao). She was the best and most lovely dog I ever had.
Well, well, well...looks like you've found a spy dog from "Cats & Dogs"
That dog wouldn't stalk his owner if he had his attention and his love...
Could be separation anxiety. What does he do when you leave him home or do you?
Bless the doggle - he's in love. Also, the nice green blanket on the sofa is pretty. Maybe he could take up knitting to make him feel less anxious?
Detective Dog from movie Cats and Dogs...Looks like he is on to something :)
This dog is very cute! But it probably has separation anxiety. It looks like it has a good home.
Nope, the blue amstaff has separation anxiety, Cyrus is just r******d.
Load More Replies...This has made me laugh harder than I had in a very long time, as a dog lover I can totally relate but Cyrus is the best!
the owners are the creepers. Nothing wrong with that dog except it is scared to death of its owners.
What an idiotic thing to say. Just like people, dogs can donate blood. Every 4 months is not too much. Also, *regenerate.
