Every Day This Dog Goes Shopping All By Himself, Returns With Bags Full Of Food

Meet Pituco, the awesome doggie from Brazil who goes to a shop all by himself every day to collect his food, taking canine independence to another level. “Everybody knows Pituco,” Agro Pet shop’s vet told The Dodo. “His food is on the top shelf, so we have to hand it to him. He barks until we do.”

As soon as the doggie gets his food, he simply heads home. Of course, the shop doesn’t just give Pituco his food for free. Agro Pet puts everything the canine grabs on a tab, and later the dog’s humans come by to pay.

But Pituco, being the good boy that he clearly is, is not only concerned with himself and his food. Sometimes his humans call Agro Pet to ask for cat food or birdseed for their other pets – and Pituco is always more than happy to go to the shop and bring the parcels back home for the other pets in the family.

Pituco, what a clever boy you are! I think all of us are madly in love with this doggie by now…

If you have a dog, do you think it could handle going shopping all by itself? Let us know in the comments below.

This reminds me of a dog I saw on a show on TV, about animals (mostly, but not exclusively domesticated). There was a very smart dog, who not only helped the owner with the tools as he'd be fixing cars, the man wouls also send the dog for groceries. He would give the dog a basket, put money on it, and the owner at the shop just knew that dog and what the owner needed. And the dog would get a treat as a bonus too. It was adorably interesting.

Every day I continue to be amazed at just how intelligent and human like our little four-legged children really are. Its simply amazing. My Charlie has a lot of common sense and he's also a consummate conman, who knows how to sway others with his antics.

When I was a kid, my cat would walk me as far as the end of the block when I walked to school and wait for me on the front step when I walked back in the afternoon. He was never very demonstrative and he never begged for hugs, he was just making sure that I got to and from school safely.

We had a cat that would follow me and my daughter to her bus stop everyday. Then he would hide in the same bush and walk me home after ;)

Yeah, dogs can be extremely smart, my 4-month old corgi is much smarter and responsive than some morons I meet in the park!

My godfather's late dog Max helped him once win a bet by taking the groceries home, a couple of streets away, all by himself. He was such an inteligent, loving and faithfull friend and we all miss him so much :(

He needs a little cart to put the food in that he could pull.

I don’t find this cute at all. That bag of food weighs at least 4 lbs almost 25% of his own weight, which is too much for such a little dog, It can affect his teeth, neck and back and shorten his life. Yes, it's very cute to watch, but please don't make such small dogs be your slaves.

I can't accuse him of shoplifting , he stopped for a short pee and he's not in a hurry.
