There are so many dog breeds, it's incredibly easy to mistake one pooch for another. Luckily, St. Louis-based artist Grace Gogarty (a.k.a. Little Tunny) has created a comprehensive comic series that will help you identify most of the dog types.

"I've been drawing comics since I was a kid," Grace told Bored Panda. "I absolutely love animals, so that's usually my focus! I worked as a supervisor at a doggy daycare for years and got to meet lots of dogs. The cartoon dogs featured in this guide are the breeds I met the most of."

The artist has divided the series into three parts - big, medium, and small dog breeds, so no k9s are left behind. Great Danes? Check. Border Collies, Yorkshire Terriers? Yep. Pugs, Golden Retrievers, and German Shepherds? Yup. "Sadly, I haven't met every dog in the word yet so that I couldn't write about them all," Grace said. "Although I stereotype them, all dogs are wonderful individuals, so I couldn't possibly pick a favorite breed!"

Among the animals Gogarty owns, there's one pooch as well. "His Name is Huey, and he is an enigma. We have no idea what kind of breeds he's comprised of!" Scroll down to meet the dog memes, and remember - even if some traits sound better than others, every dog deserves a to be a pet. Even if it pees all over your new rug.

I always feel sorry for huskies who are adopted by lazy people. They should get a lazy dog or a goldfish.

Labs are great! They are smart, and loyal,....if you can keep them at home. They're Big-Time roamers. Unfortunately, they don't do all that well in the house. My black Lab, 'Captain Black' had a lethal tail, which was always sweeping back and forth. Unfortunately, he could clear a coffee table in a matter of just a few seconds. The Captain was the main reason why I happily switched from red wine to white wine. Oh, and the Captain sure could fart up a storm too. :D

2 Dobermans used to bark furiously at me every morning as I walked to school bus. One morning I spoke to them. Then on, our routine was they would wait for me eagerly every morning, and I would stop and talk to them. They were happy to see me.

My dog loves to play with the rottweiler mix down the street. He looks like a purebreed, like no sign of the dalmation or the mastiff in him. Everytime he sees our dog he jumps up and down like a little puppy.

The Yorkshire terrier will also show its affection by nipping your ankles. They have teeth sharp enough to draw blood at every nip. (Don't tell me that I should break them of that habit, please -- they're not my dogs but a friend's.)

Still miss ours. He was awesome. Never really had to train him and he listened perfectly. Would just walk near you and come when called. Kinda obsessed about bananas and would do anything for 1. (Stole a whole bunch of the table once... Silly dog) He hated water so when it was bath time, I would just get in the shower with him and close the door. He loved getting brushed and groomed though.

The border collie needs to have work to do or it will be neurotic. If you don't have time to spend training your dog, get something less intelligent. Sometimes a border collie will herd your kids to keep them from getting separated from you.

They're great if you have kids. You always know where the kids are because the dog has them contained in a circle. Loved ours.

I have a Border Collie and I can promise you this is true. Shilo my dog is perpetual motion. He's either 100 miles an hour or asleep. But the amount of love and loyalty and true friendship you get from a Border Collie is second to none.

My friends stepmum has one that doesn't get enough exercise. One day when we took him out we were throwing his rubber you for him until we realised that he got to play with it so rarely his mouth was bleeding :'( the step sister has grown up and learnt to drive and now does agility and fly ball with him so he doesn't get into such a state anymore...

I've had several Border Collies. Wonderful dogs. My current dogs have aged. The oldest is 14 and had to retire when she was 10 because her knees are bad. My 12 year old will be retiring in March. It's breaking my heart, but it's time to stop working. He's just not capable anymore. He's been a wonderful dog too.

Our border/Aussie mix, Arrow, ran and jumped and played until she too blew her knees out. She was only 6. It didn't slow her down too much but we worried about the pain factor 'cause we simply couldn't afford the surgeries that were recommended. She WAS the boss of every other dog we welcomed to the family. She used to tattle on the puppy all the time. She would growl and come and get us if the puppy was getting into something forbidden. She was also in charge of protectin'...always protectin'...she left us at 14 and I miss her ever so much. You can't imagine the problems we've had with T-Rex's attacking the house since she died.

My Puggle is absolutely convinced he's actually a Border Collie, any time he sees one or especially a group he attached himself to the back and forgets he's meant to be with us!!

Tsundere lol that actually sums it up pretty well. Mine sometimes wants to be pet hard and long, but mostly she'll lay down somewhere close and love you from a distance - just don't touch her or she'll leave.

Just adopted an old man doxie with no teeth. Jef is right, he will eat rabbit poops, frozen bread in the yard for the birds, anything off the floor. He doesn't look to see what it is, he just gulps it down.

In my seventy plus years, I have always been a dog lover/owner. Big dogs, medium dogs, and small ones. But when I got my first shih-tzu I've never looked back since. They're very energetic, love kids, easy to hold, and the most expensive part to them is the grooming every 6-7 weeks. They don't eat a lot, and best of all, they don't leave big piles that need cleaning up. Oh, and they look like hairy little children, in need of affection. I love my CharlieK. Period!
