There are so many dog breeds, it's incredibly easy to mistake one pooch for another. Luckily, St. Louis-based artist Grace Gogarty (a.k.a. Little Tunny) has created a comprehensive comic series that will help you identify most of the dog types.

"I've been drawing comics since I was a kid," Grace told Bored Panda. "I absolutely love animals, so that's usually my focus! I worked as a supervisor at a doggy daycare for years and got to meet lots of dogs. The cartoon dogs featured in this guide are the breeds I met the most of."

The artist has divided the series into three parts - big, medium, and small dog breeds, so no k9s are left behind. Great Danes? Check. Border Collies, Yorkshire Terriers? Yep. Pugs, Golden Retrievers, and German Shepherds? Yup. "Sadly, I haven't met every dog in the word yet so that I couldn't write about them all," Grace said. "Although I stereotype them, all dogs are wonderful individuals, so I couldn't possibly pick a favorite breed!"

Among the animals Gogarty owns, there's one pooch as well. "His Name is Huey, and he is an enigma. We have no idea what kind of breeds he's comprised of!" Scroll down to meet the dog memes, and remember - even if some traits sound better than others, every dog deserves a to be a pet. Even if it pees all over your new rug.

I always feel sorry for huskies who are adopted by lazy people. They should get a lazy dog or a goldfish.

I think they would love the type of country music that is about relationships. I think Holly Williams' "Waiting on June" would be their favorite song.

Poodles also have a sense of humor - they’ll prank you if they think they can get away with it, and sometimes even if they can’t. Also talkative and a bit opinionated, but still so lovable.

lol.. Had Poodle who could and did speak a few English words .. those she could get her mouth around. I worked her on hand signals. But she would turn her back on my Mom when Mom tried using them. She ignored my Dad completely. No matter how much he bellowed. Extremely intelligent Canine.

Also, I am smart enough to notice that your MSN dalliance did not mention us. That will not happen again. When one spends as much time with hair dressers as we do, you know we have a network, and you know we can find you. ... and those rumors about us using foo foo to hide the fact that we are really barbaric calculating German water dogs is not true. You got it!!!!

Oops, sorry I think by dog was tapping out some code. I am trying to erase it, but don't know how. Some kids spiked her filet mignon with Adderall and every since things have been kind of scary. Sshh, she's comin......

This whole doodle craze has gotten out of hand. To many backyard breeders cranking them out to make big bucks. Yes, they’re cute as can be as puppies, (what puppy isn’t cute?),, but all of the ones I’ve seen are in need of obiedence training and more exercise.

People don't realize that Poodles were created as hunting dogs. They need a certain amount of activity/stimulation. If they don't get it, they create their own fun. which is either really cute or really annoying depending on what they do.

Omg, this is so accurate. My toy poodle knew every rule in the house but blatantly break them anyway. The look of absolute (and absolutely fake) innocence he gives us when he's caught is just.

My mini poodle live to 18.7 years. He was very smart. New every command. He was really funny dog too. Mini poodles are great because they are high energy so they can walk really far. Fast runners too. Love poodles!

I think all animals know what you are saying by the age of three. That's as far as that goes, but if you keep talking to them and using different words so no reaction happens and then one day it dawns on them that you were avoiding going to the park and boy are you in trouble and happy and the same time.

Our Toy Poodle was like a toddler. He was taught to obey and learned the names of all his toys. I would tell him to go find a certain one and he would bring it to me. He was also a real cuddler!

The border collie needs to have work to do or it will be neurotic. If you don't have time to spend training your dog, get something less intelligent. Sometimes a border collie will herd your kids to keep them from getting separated from you.

Tsundere lol that actually sums it up pretty well. Mine sometimes wants to be pet hard and long, but mostly she'll lay down somewhere close and love you from a distance - just don't touch her or she'll leave.

I once reached down to pet a mini dachshund, forgetting that they are longer than they are tall. Just as I reached, he stood up on his hind legs and swiped his tongue over my lips. I cannot begin to describe the odor-taste that filled my mouth. I ran to the bathroom, screaming like Lucy: Ugh! Dog germs!

Ahhh, too bad they didn't include the royal Beagle in this series. I guess a hound dog is the closest to the beagle. I have a beagle and he's the best dog I've ever had. Don't ever want any other breed, EVER! He's sweet, funny, mischievous, good with other dogs, cats, and kids, and eats anything. Also, can sing (croon, bay, howl), like Frank Sinatra. No, better than Frank! Best. Dog. Breed. EVER!
