Share on Facebookdivorced parents take photo once a year with son - GO VIRAL. But seriously, it's really nice and all, but the more important question is whether they still provide constant love and support to their kid. Just because they take a photo once a year doesn't mean they do.

Fantastic!, divorce is bad enough for any child. But having to live with bickering, anger, name calling, and eternal friction, sometimes it can be way too much for them to endure. What this divorced couple is doing is ALL for the betterment of their son, and that is what it should be all about. Bruce will always know that not only is he loved by Both parents, but he is the most important thing in their lives. BRAVO!
Knowing what psychological damage a divorce does to a kid, it is sad that this is a unique exception.
once a year. cold people, cold story. many don't see the tragedy here
I am going to break it down like this, as being a divorcee myself and remarried....the reality is that all that will change as the child reaches his teen years and after they are 18 years of age, it becomes a completely different world, for everyone involved. Let us not forget the reality divorced for a reason.
Thank God for Facebook! Where would all these people brag about doing a completely normal thing for their child if it wasn't for it? It's an outrage those 2 incredible people not receiving a medal for taking a pic together once a year! At least they got all those likes and shares for their troubles. Everyone knows that good parenting isn't worth s**t if you don't advertise your "achievements".
Agree with you Benny. This is one of those things that looks really nice at first glance, but starts to lose a lot of shine once you begin asking a few simple questions, e.g. What do they do with their child the rest of the year? A few photos hardly say much.
Load More Replies...I can't help but say.. the photos of them as a family before they were divorced can easily be seen from the two afterwards. Why? Because if you notice the amount of connection the two are having with each other, you can see the before photos they're closer together. But that doesn't matter, this is a truly touching story and I admire these two parents for doing what they are doing :)
If they can do this for their son, then they should have stayed married. They made a commitment to each other to stay together through good times and bad times. Vows aren't just place holders until you don't want to do it anymore. Relationships shouldn't be disposable. With that in mind, I am glad they are putting their child first, for at least the time it takes to take a picture.
That's how you see them. The world shouldn't be forced to fit itself into your narrow view. Grow up.
