According to illustrator Paul Westover, no one makes more irrational, emotion-based decisions than Disney characters. To highlight this, he has created a brilliant series. It imagines alternate Disney movie endings, showing how the stories would have unfolded if Simba, Aladdin, and other beloved characters used basic logic.
On the plus side, the characters become more proactive but the downfall is that the plots would probably get waaay shorter. Do you agree with the artist and think these endings make more sense? Let us know in the comment section below!
P.S. This isn't the first time that Paul has reimagined Disney stories. Check out his equally amusing and completely over-the-top illustration series which asks the question how Disney movies would look with cops in them.

Cinderella
OMG so true. Like, what did you look at all night, prince charming, that you cannot recognise her face?
Sorry to disappoint you, but part of the charm was to make her unrecognizable so that her step mother and step sister wouldn't harass her on the party and so she could have a great night free of consequences for disobeying her step-mother’s order. That’s why he couldn’t find her by looking at her.
I always thought that story was fishy . U dont rem her face, and no matter how small her feet many women share a shoesize..
This one is dumb. Fairy god-b***h can can magic mice into horses and s**t you don't think she beat Cindy's face to perfection? Plus Cindy wasn't there to ride the Princes man meat and she had to hide from her horrible b***h family. Why would she announce a bunch of s**t for no reason? Plus she had that head scarf thing on. We aren't all terribly observant visually. I can identify people I haven't seen in years by the sound of their voice. If I turn around and you take ya hat off I'm going to be wondering where the hell you went when I turn back around. I hear everything you say, I'm a next level listener but uhm, I'm utterly oblivious on visual things. I can see princy poo not knowing who Cindy was.
I would think that rational thing to do would be to leave abusive family and find a job?
I'm sure you would be able to do that in the Middle Ages.
Load More Replies...just watched this with my kid..this cant have had happened..she didnt know he was the prince the whole night and its not rational for a prince to go door to door
Mulan
Snow White
The Little Mermaid
Lion King
Except the problem was that Simba thought it was an accident. Did you not watch the movie?
Aladdin
Lol. The eternal "what would you wish for question" ofc now it seems silly but i would ask for 10 more min of nap each morning.
Beauty And The Beast
I like how each of them are all straight up savages LOL. Do one of Pocahontas and Tiana please!!
It's great that Mr Westover illustrated these alternative endings because really often when I watch a Disney movie or some other movie I become irritated with the main characters' stupidity and I'm sure many other people feel the same way. Seeing a more rational and logical thinking displayed by the characters almost redeems the unsatisfactory short plot.
This just made me think of how in all Action movies when it is more than one on one, the baddies wait their turn. If they all just jumped the good guy at once, game over !
And every horror movie....if someone is trying to make kill you don't run into the woods or basement. Get a damn gun. Movie over in 10 mins. Also, doesn't anyone in movies realize you can run to the left or right? Nu do they only run straight ahead then end up getting hit by the car, space ship, boulder, etc...?
Load More Replies...But Simba is manipulated into thinking he was responsible he has no idea that his uncle Scar did it.
the less rationality is a part of their charm~ well anyway in the times of Mulan she would have gotten killed if she did that~ Snow white I don't think she even knows the value of such gems to bribe others, she lived in the castle all the time~ Beast well I don't know strong he maybe but against the numbers he'd be killed~ Al...that's pretty good lol!~
does ariel know how to write with a pen and paper. She does not even know how to use a fork.
they do it like a boss and all the girls seem 2 have actual power and guts instead of being the little wimps they were in the real movies it actually makes sense
