Disney ‘Humanimalized’: Animal Characters Turned Into Humans And Humans Into Animals (20 Pics)

Disney characters are distinct and special. They have their own style, aesthetic, and personal traits, which is why they're so memorable. But let's take a detour from the canon and ask ourselves "what if something was a little different about them?" What if, for example, Bambi was a human being, and Cruella de Vil was a dog herself? What would they look like then?
Now you may wonder no more, as Alex Pick has concocted images that satisfy this peculiar interest. He has turned the animal characters to humans, and did the reverse to the human characters. The artist calls the series "Disney humanimals," which is pretty self-explanatory.
The artist explained his motivation behind the series to Bored Panda. "It was an idea already for a very long time to transform the animals into humans and also the other way around! I like these switched roles and those kind of mashups," he told us. The author told about his background with animation and drawing: "I have always been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil! I never wanted to do anything else! I dreamed to work for Disney as a kid, and to see my name on the screen or in the cinema in the credits of movies! Since 2000, I’ve been working as a designer for a German animation studio! And in my free time, I draw a lot of fanart."

Alex also shared what he plans on doing next. "There are so many on my list: for example: now I've started with Robin Hood. In the future, there will be characters from Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King, Zootopia, and many, many more."

I would've made them different. Bambi would have 2 long red braids going to her waist, and a bright peach dress with yellow, and blue flowers. Thumper would be tinier, and have greyish silver hair, and Flower would have long braids goint all the way down her back with white and black stripes in them. She would have a grey dress with white polka dots.
I never watched the movie, but I read the picture book. I know Bambi's a boy and I think Thumper is too, I'm not sure about Flower, but I think she's a girl

I imagine human Thumper as being ADHD for some reason. I think it's something about his character in the movie

These were a lot of fun. I love how you can clearly tell who the characters are after humanizing them--or in some cases, animalizing them.

These were amazing! I really liked how the human versions still looked like the type of animation from back them.
I love almost all of them. They're really nicely done. However, Bambi and Thumper were way too cute as animals and that doesn't quite translate into the human version. They're cute as kids as well but as animals they were stinking cute and adorable.
Great would have liked a bit more racial diversity as the dogs have darker fur too
Well most of them are european breeds so it makes sense that they are caucasian. Same as it makes sense that the Lion King cast would be african

I was sad there was no Lion King, but overjoyed to see the Aristocats and oliver!
They were good, do more animal characters from a tv show called sonic x into humans and humans into animals, even though it is by 4kids entertainment instead of disney.

I'm not trying to be sassy or rude, but I just wanted to point out that humans are animals. Again, not trying to be rude at all. Other than the wording, I love these. They are so cool
Idk, I'm mixed race, but I really don't feel super offended by this. While I agree we should get more minority representation in the media (and the original siamese cat portrayal in the movie is racist as hell), I think this case is a bit different... I think the artist gave the human versions race based on where the species or breed of the animal originated. For example, Rita is supposed to be a Saluki, which first appeared somewhere around Egypt, so the artist gave her dark skin. But, a lot of the animals shown here originated in Europe (poodle, bloodhound, Scottish terrier). I'm guessing that if there were more animals that had originated from outside of Europe, then we'd see a lot more diversity. The only exception, it seems, is the aristocats, who are supposed to be Turkish angoras, so it could've been cool if they were Turkish, but otherwise, it would seem this is what the artist was doing.
