Mike Winkelmann, also known as Beeple, is a graphic designer from Appleton, Wisconsin, USA. He works with a wide range of visual materials, from illustrations to films, but what we would like to show you is impressive and pretty unique.
CGI master Winkelmann has been creating one illustration a day from start to finish for the last 10+ years. He calls the project “Everydays” and the main purpose of it is to help him get better at different things. He’s already dedicated his years to photography, illustarator, and simple hand-drawing. “I am currently on my 11th round of everydays,” says Winkelmann on his website. “This year I’ll be doing a render everyday using Cinema 4D and mostly Octane, instead of trying to learn new software, will be focusing on some of the fundamentals like color, composition, value, etc.”
Artist notices that this project helped him not only to improve his technical skills but also taught him how to complete projects and stick with something. Scroll down to see Winkelmann’s digital journey for yourself!
