56 Funny Illustrations Proving The World Has Changed For the Worse
Why are the good-old-days always behind us? Sure, your TV is 20lb lighter than it was 10 years ago, but you've put on 20lb of weight in the meantime; your old Nokia cellphone was so durable it damaged the floor when you dropped it, but your new iPhone costs as much as a fresh organ on the black-market, and shatters into pieces at the slightest touch.
This open-list has some of our favorite then-and-now comparisons. Can you think of any funny juxtapositions? Vote on your favorite below, or post your own!

Mail Then And Now
My children are all in college but I taught them to write letters by hand while they were growing up. It is so much more personal, fun to get and they will last for a long time! Everyone likes to get a letter in their mailbox!
love my emails it is true, but love also getting letterbox mail too, especially free samples from Jilly and others too
I send letters approx. 3 a week and have done so for decades and decades and also email letters. whatever needs doing I do,find no problems with any.
so true. although retired I feel as if I am still in the office but unpaid.
nothing like waiting for the mailman to see if you have gotten a letter from a friend or boy/girl friend... and how great it was to just sit with pen and paper to put your thoughts on paper..... I loved doing that... and still do.. !!
I don't think this is bad either... how is writing worse then typing? Doesn't synk...
I miss the days when social media wasn't such a big thing. Now all I get in my real mailbox are bills. I would probably faint if I ever got a real piece of mail, it's been so long. I miss it. People are so distant nowadays....and often extremely rude. It's like they don't even want to experience real human contact. Or anything real, unless it's on their phone or computer. I think it's just plain sad. And, yes, I know I'm typing this on a computer. I live by myself and this is, unfortunately, my only means of human contact. So for that it's a good thing. But if you go out in public, you don't need all of that. A cell phone is only useful for breakdowns and car accidents/actual emergencies. Otherwise you really should attempt to communicate with real people.

California Then And Now
Chantal. Relax. I've lived in California my whole life and we're fine. We can take showers, drink from the faucet, go to the beach. Droughts in the US are much different from other nations. It just means we get yelled at a lot here. It's just a joke. Lighten up a little...
