Designs at their best can make your brand memorable through catchy slogans and imagery. At their worst, however, they can make people remember your company for all the wrong reasons. The subreddit “Crappy Design” is a great example of how designs can go so very wrong, and leave a bad mark on your name.
Bored Panda has curated a new list of our favorite design fails from “Crappy Designs.” Sure these designers might have had good intentions, but where were their editors? Everything from animal sex on kids pajamas to subtle double entendres that an editor clearly missed, several people were clearly spaced out on the job. Not every disabled person is in a wheelchair. There are lots of other disabled people who need to use these restrooms too. However, yes, this is still shockingly bad. The venue could easily just put a ramp over those steps and problem solved
"Just ask at the counter and we'll get the ramp out for you!" Yes, I love to announce to everyone in the venue when I need to use the toilet. Privacy is for ableds. Even funnier when they have that statement on a sign outside a front door, with stairs leading up to it. Happens way too often. /Wheelchair-user.

I once had to go to a disabled toilet (I am in a wheelchair), that was also used as a room for their cleaning stuff (this happens more often). And even had to go to the front desk because it was locked! That moment was so frustrating. Having to go to the front desk to be able to use the toilet! Sometimes they also might do it, so not every healthy person can go in there when there is a (huge) line at the regular toilets, still this is very annoying for disabled people. Also happens a lot at gas stations over here. I can see the humor in this picture, though when you encounter it, it is pretty unpleasant. I would need to have a friend help me get in (and out again) there.

I understand the wrongness of the handicapped sign on a door with steps. But what the hells with the lock on the outside of the door?!

i have been in a lot of eating places in the last 6 months and many do not have disabled loos and the main toilets are up or down a steep flight of stairs, not good if like me I cannot manage stairs.
I got into a row with a manager at an art store. The "public" access was down a flight of stairs too naoo==rrow for my chair. After I "slipped," they gave me a gift card. screw that.
I think someone probably has a disabled sticker they are having fun with...
