Optipess, a Norwegian webcomic by Kristian Nygård, uses humor to deal with serious topics. Nygård told Bored Panda that initially he was inspired by comics like like Tintin and Sprint when he was growing up, and by Calvin and Hobbes and Lunarboom later one. As for how long it takes to do a strip? "I usually end up spending an entire day in total to make a comic. When pressed for time I might try to churn out a comic more quickly, often with varying results."
Nygård goes on to add, "Another thing I’ve discovered is that by succeeding in sharing something genuine - presented in a true and honest way - it will inevitably always resonate with someone, somewhere."

Very appropriate. I wish I could make my wife understand that a damn pill does not stop the depressed thoughts.
I'm gonna have to get a bigger bandaid.. I'm gonna have to get a bigger band aid
Dont let the depression win, get out and enjoy this amazing world, make new friends, travel and meet new places like Azores, 9 beautifull islands with amazing people, you are never alone there!
You don't understand the point of the comic. Depression is a darkness that swallows your soul. We put on a happy face around the rest of the world, but deep down that darkness is there tugging on us and reminds us how it owns us no matter what we do...
