Explosive Dance Portraits By Alexander Yakovlev
Studio-dance photographer Alexander Yakovlev makes his images of professional dancers come alive by adding dynamic elements like exploding flour.
The Moscow resident is a graduate from the faculty of law at the Russian State University For the Humanities, but it’s clear from his work here that rhetoric isn’t his only specialty. Yakovlev’s photos span a wide spectrum of dance styles, from ballet to break-dancing, but it was his flour-filled photo “Big bang theory” that has garnered the most recent attention.

awsome!!!you can add this pic on a photo sharing website called You Pic
Also great study for anatomy. Young artists need examples of what muscle groups look like in movement and different poses.
The first and last photos are so amazing! How beautiful the body becomes when someone works out, whether dance or sports!
the white powder or the dust was not required . . it seems it was over done on the piece of art. . the dancers n the photography would have been enough. . plus the wings are not composed properly its obvious in the photograph that they are hung on the wall. .
Love the perfection of the ballerinas and the creative freshness of great photoghraphy capturing the motion with the flour clouds! Wonderfully enjoyable! Lovely new 'frame' for human body poses.
Mucky little buggers playing around in all that dust, don't they know it is bad for the chest.
Muito bom, trabalho mostra o que realmente a artista sente na sua essência,Parabéns.
Why is there only 1 male photo? I think the photographer could have captured more of the masculine form.
