Dad Schools Anti-Mask Parents About What Is And Isn’t In The Bible In Powerful Speech
We’ve witnessed how the pandemic united people who understood that humanity will win this battle only if we will help each other out. Simple things like being more generous to those who need it or going to grocery stores for the more vulnerable, so they don’t have to. We’ve witnessed countries helping one another, sending humanitarian help, protective equipment, donating vaccines, etc.
On the other hand, we’ve observed a huge divide in society: there are people who are willing to wear masks, get vaccinated and just try their best to not spread the virus and there are others who don’t believe in the virus or that the vaccines will help them and think that every restriction made by governments is a violation of their human rights.
People who believe in their truth are trying to convince the other side to change their minds, but that rarely happens. However, this doesn’t mean that they will stop. Recently, a new story went viral of a dad giving a speech in which he encourages people to wear masks because that will help to protect each other and even his 5-year-old daughter gets it.

As COVID-19 cases spike, schools are discussing how to continue with the learning process in a safe way

On August 10, Williamson County Board of Education held a special meeting regarding COVID safety protocols and it was decided to implement a mask mandate policy for elementary school students, staff and visitors until September 21 when they are inside the school and buses.
The discussion of wearing masks came up because COVID cases are on the rise and it is confirmed that the delta variant is much more contagious than the previous ones.
However, that decision caused some heated reactions and concerned parents who opposed the new requirement were harassing those who voted in favor of it.
The obvious solution is to make students and teachers wear masks, but after a school in Tennessee did that, the decision faced protest

However, there were parents who supported the mask mandate and a dad went viral for his speech on Twitter

On August 16, the board held its regular August meeting and the mask question came up again. Parents who came to the meeting were given an opportunity to speak their minds and one dad went viral on Twitter for his little speech as the whole meeting was recorded.
The dad is Justin Kanew, the founder of the Tennessee Holler, a former Congressional candidate, and he has a 5-year-old daughter who just started kindergarten. He says that he didn’t plan on saying anything, but something made him change his mind.
The clip of him speaking was shared on Twitter and watched over a million times. Each person who wanted to give a public comment was given 2 minutes in the meeting and Justin didn’t even need that long to make his point.
In his speech, the dad said that his daughter, who is 5 years old, completely understood that wearing a mask will protect others
He said that even his 5-year-old daughter understands that by wearing a mask, you’re protecting others and it’s really not that hard to do. Justin is disappointed that adults cannot be convinced when people who know better, like scientists, urge us to do it.
Justin spoke to Newsweek and theorized that there isn’t just one reason why people don’t want to wear masks and won’t tell their kids to wear them. He thinks that there is a lot of disinformation and mistrust in science, the media and doctors. He explains that people feel like wearing masks somehow violates their right to freedom even though it’s what would keep them and others safe.
He says that the root, though, is how politicians handled the situation when the virus was just arriving. It wasn’t taken seriously then because the number of cases was low and there were no deaths yet. But when they realized they were wrong, they just didn’t want to admit it.
He was disappointed that adults couldn’t grasp that and condemned those who used their religion as an excuse

At the end, Justin touched on how people make excuses to not wear masks, bringing up their religion. He asked a friend who is a pastor if there is anything in the Bible that would allow that, and surely enough, the pastor said not at all. What the Bible does say is to take care of each other and wearing masks is literally that.
The internet loved Justin’s speech and applauded him for speaking some truths. Many were pointing out that it was very brave of him and even though maybe not many in the auditorium were listening to him, a lot of people on the internet got to hear him.
You can watch the clip of Justin talking below
🔥WATCH: “CRT is not in our schools, you didn’t know what it was 6 months ago… my 5yo gets that we mask up for others, wish more adults grasped that… if you only like democracy when it goes your way, you don’t like democracy”

I speak with the anti-vax/anti-mask crowd five days a week. Thirty hours a week. Sometimes more if you count online. This guy gets it. We're saving each other, not having a debate in Political Science 101. Mask up. Vax up. If you need a booster, get it. It's not about your religion or your voting. it's about being actualy pro-LIFE, not just "pro-my-convenience"
Best way to burn out a virus is to cut off its supply of hosts. The unvaccinated have essentially become walking petri dishes. They're giving this virus exactly what it needs to mutate into more resistant or dangerous strains
Load More Replies...This is what needs to be done. More people need to speak up. I’m sick and tired of hearing things like “ if god wanted me to wear a mask, I would have born with one on my face” people need to wake the hell up and realize that need they need to get vaccinated, and still wear masks.
And yet these people still wear clothes, shoes, and have eyeglasses without thinking twice.
Load More Replies...My good friend's cousin in Iran just died from Covid last week because vaccines are not widely available to the Iranian public. Refusing to get vaccinated or refusing to wear a mask is an extreme (and offensive) form of privilege and people who do so ought to be ashamed of themselves.
I am in constant contact with this crowd. They problem is they still don't think the virus is "real" - no one they personally know has died, they think the media is some type of liberal conspiracy that is over-dramatizing the pandemic, that the mask don't work anyway... etc.etc. It's exhausting and no amount of facts and figures will change their minds because they have the simpel comeback of "It's all fake."
I've got one who is sure it's real but insists the vaccination is useless and/or (fill in blank), based on the fact her *unvaccinated* or *partially vaccinated* acquaintances (over age 65 no less) are getting Covid. She wants her freedom and to debunk the vaccine being effective. It isn't 100%. (Neitehr is flu shot, but she gets that one.)....
Load More Replies...I’m not sure what I find more alienating snd weird: Adults advocating against masks like those mean the end of the world or adults still looking into the bilbe for any advice whatsoever.
I would really like to see what the actual argument being used is that they shouldn't have to wear masks because of the Bible! It's clearly nonsense l, but would be really interesting to know what part they are trying to use, or if it's just a "I'm a Christian and the Bible says I dont" argument
Heres one from my dermatologist today. I just came home and am still in shock. I mentioned that I'm worried about the breakthrough cases. She said not to worry, this is all fake anyway. This is to establish a new world order. "Just read the Bible. Just read Revelations..." "The vaccine was made before the virus and they just want to keep you in fear so they can control everything. This... this person is who I am trusting to make sure I don't have skin cancer? Time for a new doctor - preferably one from the "new world order." :)
Load More Replies...I just found this out, but the bible is actually pro-mask and pro-social distancing. Leviticus 13:45-46 New International Version 45 “Anyone with such a defiling disease must wear torn clothes, let their hair be unkempt, cover the lower part of their face and cry out, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ 46 As long as they have the disease they remain unclean. They must live alone; they must live outside the camp.
"Oh GOD, why didn't you saaave us?" "I sent you masks, knowledge, and a vaccine. What more do you want?"
The concept of a religious exception in a society that is build upon the concept of a separation between state and church is in itself preposterous. We should not even have to double check whether something is actually in the bible or not.
For anyone who's interested, this is what God ordered to deal with leprosy: "Anyone with such a defiling disease must wear torn clothes, let their hair be unkempt, cover the lower part of their face and cry out, 'Unclean! Unclean!'" (Leviticus 13:45). And in Titus 3, Christians are told to be subject to rulers and authorities. (unless they ask you to sin, of course)
My wife's best friend, a healthy woman in her early 50s, just died of Covid last Saturday. She wasn't an antivaxxer, but she didn't make the time because she was too busy working from home. Likely, someone with Covid infected her in one of her few outings. She should have gotten the vaccine, no doubt about it, my wife and I got our booster the same day she died (coincidentally) and we always wear a mask. I just don't understand how 1/3 of our people can be so callous and intentionally uninformed. Worse yet, are the one that do it out of some ideological conviction. How many people are they killing every day? Is your freedom to not wear a cloth on your face more important than other people's lives?
Very disappointing that our parents went to war, sometimes as teenagers, and now we are so selfish and spoiled, we can't even wear a paper mask during a coffee run. Anti maskers and vaccination sceptics are a bunch of put&+$.
A lot of the anti-maskers are actually the right age to be Vietnam vets themselves.
Load More Replies...Honestly, good for him, but... the irony of making an eloquent speech about the importance of wearing masks *while not wearing one*
I thought he had one on but pulled down to his chin, but I went back & watched the clip again - nope, no mask. I can only hope he had one on when he arrived & just took it off to make his statement, then put it back on!

Sometime between 1980 and 1983, one went through our home town in Southwest Georgia that incapacitated my wife and both her parents. I did not contract it at all, and truth be told, I have never been diagnosed with any type of flue in my entire 67 years. Now, that does not mean that I have ever turned down any flue vaccine available, including this new one that is going around now. Due to heart issues that have cropped up in the three to four years, I felt it was the wise thing to do. My doctors agreed with my decision. I did check with them before I got the shot as to which one they preferred I get. I AM NOT going to say which one they advised me to get because I DO NOT want it to appear that I am pushing one manufacturer over another. If you cannot decide which one you want to take, check with your family doctor as they know you the best.
I always dreamt of some virus that would eliminate stupid people. It looks like it's happening. Unfortunately some good people get caught in the process.
