Photographer Tiptoes Through The Tulips To Photograph Mice (20 Pics)

Having one of those days? With so much craziness going on out there at the moment, sometimes what we all need is a break, time to switch off from it all and just look at some pretty and happy things. Like these adorable field mice for example.

These adorable photos of super cute animals were taken by Miles Herbert, a British photographer who runs Captivelight, holding workshops and animal photography tuition for people who are interested in capturing “birds of prey, reptiles, frogs and other beasties.”

“These harvest Mice were photographed in an indoor studio,” Miles told Bored Panda. “We provide a service for photographers looking for high impact cute animal pictures, and using a purpose-built studio means that we are not weather dependent. There is also an option to photograph animals outside if the client wishes, our other specialty is frogs!”

“Nearly all the animals we photograph are captive bred, the mice are bred to release into the wild at a local nature reserve – we prefer to use captive-bred animals rather than disturbing wild populations, and captive bred animals are more sustainable.”

Every cute mouse gets a treat during the sessions, as they just love to eat the stamens and the nectar of the flowers, while Miles and his clients get to watch their cute little subjects going about their business while taking great close-up shots. It’s a win-win situation for all involved, and you can’t fail to be enchanted by these tiny little critters, frolicking among in the tulip fields and nestling cozily amongst the petals.

The photographs are beautifully taken, vividly colorful and are sure to put a smile on your face, even on a bad day. Scroll down to check out the cuteness overload for yourself, and let us know what you the comments below!

I saw something very very frustrating online and was in a bad state, with my blood pounding and a migraine. I told myself to look at some harvest mice, knowing how cute these photos are, and sure enough, came here - migraine receding, mood lifting. Thanks so much, Miles, for your beautiful contribution!

So wrong and so many ways, and releasing captive bred back into wild on a nature reserve??? really.😡 people please think about what you are doing before you book this type of workshop. The comment “we prefer to use captive rather than disturbing the wild” tells you loads about the people running this workshop.
