20 Newly Hatched Baby Chameleons Create Cuteness Overload Crisis At Sydney Zoo
If you’ve ever had any doubt about how cute reptiles can be, let us end those doubts right now. This gang of more than 20 baby chameleons, recently hatched at Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia, is one of the cutest band of curious explorers that we’ve ever seen.
The little green guys are veiled chameleons, which are native to Yemen and Saudi Arabia. Though they may sometimes use their color changes for camouflage, their colors change far more often in response to temperature changes, stress or courtship. They eat plants and insects, which they catch with their long, sticky tongues.
Veiled chameleons are not endangered and are hardy breeders, so many breeders do offer them as pets.

Share on Facebookoh good lord I cant believe all these lame comments about finger nails. These people WORK ...... in a ZOO..... of course their hands will look like they belong to people who WORK. They are not models who never get their hands dirty, what kind of alternate universe do some of you people live in. *SMDH They could care less about stupid manicures.
When I was a child, my dad brought home 1 for each of us kids. I am ashamed to say that they disappeared as winter came on.
ah lala Ils sont trop trop trop mignons! Dommage qu'ils ne restent pas petits :(
A fallacy humans are prone to: That whatever one cannot imagine cannot possibly exist...
