Danay is from Cuba. Leaving her home country wasn´t easy at all but now she is very lucky to be traveling the whole world.
She started with short trips many years ago, until she decided to quit her job at a tax company in Germany back in 2015. Since then she has been traveling full time.
She has already visited 100 countries and she is currently in Guatemala traveling through Central America, going to country number 101 in few days (El Salvador).
Dancing is her second passion aftr traveling, hence the name of her blog “itravelanddance” (also the name of her Instagram account and her Facebook fan page).
She loves waterfalls, mountains, animals, volcanoes, beaches, between other things (She has plenty of beautiful pictures of beautiful places in her social medias).
But what she loves the most is wearing traditional clothes everywhere she can, either to go to regular parties, or to traditional weddings and also for dancing at the local carnivals while she is traveling (cause she definitly loves dancing).
It´s not only about traveling but also about feeling the culture, interacting with the locals, eating what they eat, dancing to the rhythm of their music as well as dressing like they do… why not? ;-). Here you can appreciate some of her pictures wearing traditional clothes all around the world.
You can also watch her youtube video about it called “Traditional clothes around the world” by itravelanddance (published in November 2016).
If your country is on her pictures, leave a comment and let her know if you like the costume. If your country isn´t here, let her know where she can take pictures with traditional clothes once she visits your country, cause she will :-)
She is currently writing about Africa and posting on her blog her experiences during her last year solo overland trip in West Africa although she is right now traveling and discovering all Central America. (never stop traveling ;-))
Hope you enjoy her story and pictures :-)
Share it if you like it and follow her/us on the social medias to keep you posting about our uncountable adventures.
