The ‘Sad Cringe’ subreddit documents these exact moments. Moments that stay with you longer than your average meme because they’re all happy-go-lucky. They show the vulnerable (yet still at times funny) moments that we’ve all found ourselves in, one way or another.

Since our last article about the ‘Sad Cringe’ subreddit, their community had continued to grow by leaps and bounds. So while they had 882k members in late August 2020, now, in early July 2021, they’re boasting a whopping million redditors who have joined their community. Odds are, this trend will continue.
The online group, founded in 2013, also celebrated its 8th year of operating on Reddit in mid-spring.

According to the subreddit’s mods, r/sadcringe is “a place for awkward or embarrassing situations that also make you feel sad.” They also note that the ‘sad’ part is all about how we feel when we see a particular post, not about “calling someone out” for being sad. In other words, the focus is on how you feel, dear Pandas.
Previously, moderator Niceboihappy shared with Bored Panda that the number of followers the subreddit had rose since the start of the Covid pandemic. However, the moderator also noted that the community was growing in size and how close-knit it was either way.

When my niece was little she called everybody by name, even the dog, but I was just "that there". We are besties now :)
Once I was babysitting my niece and nephew since my sister was pretty desperate for child care. I arrived about 5 AM. While I was sitting, reading the paper, my 4yo niece starts coming down the stairs, races back upstairs and I hear "OH NO! (my real name) is here!" My 5yo nephew responds, "OH NO!" I wonder what misinformation she had been telling those kids since I didn't see nor hear from them until they decided "hunger won" and I wasn't the evil person their Mom apparently made me out to be! BTW, I have never even raised my voice to those kids and I did feed them breakfast, lunch and started dinner before their Mom came home.
Sounds like their mom might be the jerk... if she conveyed to them you were an awful person, why is she asking you to watch her kids? See... jerk behavior.

You know what...that's not necessarily a bad thing. Being "liked" has become a really good thing these days. I think everyone has circumstances like this....for example, there's a member of my family who is a real jerk. I love all of my family, so I do love him. But I don't like him.
This is actually a kinder more genuine gesture. You are supposed to love your friends and family regardless. But you don't have to like them or the way they behave. So people actually liking you is much better.
This is a core reason why I love children so much 😆 They can be brutal but I still love their curiousity and honesty.

From a brutally honest child that probably doesn’t like any of the older siblings or even parents at some time, i see this as a complement. As a mother of a 6yo girl, this is an absolute win.
She more than loves you. She actually likes you as well! You love your family, but doesn't mean you actually like them. But she choose to like your company.

This is standard behavior for musicians. They can't open it without risking being sued at some point in the future if any element of a song they write is similar to something on one of these cds that people send them. So they have to return them unopened, and document that they did so.

In junior high, our class was getting paired up as the teacher called out names. The most ''popular" boy in my grade's name got called out and got my name attached to it. Soon as it got paired up, the WHOLE CLASS (including my so called bff and her group of friends) went "OHHHHH NOOOO!!!" Made me feel sooo bad!
Some of these, I highly question whether the person posting was bullied or if they were themselves, THE bully.
