This Artist Made A Dark Webcomic About ‘Gnarly Brown’, And People On Instagram Are Loving It
It is pretty unlikely that you have not heard of Adam Ellis and his comics that are currently being serialized on Webtoon, going by the title ‘Books of Adam.’ Adam makes his comics and often uses the same main character named Adam that he based off himself.
Adam’s comic page on Instagram has grown very big and the artist has over 1.7 million followers! When it comes to his stories’ inspiration, even readers can guess that more often than not, they are based on the stuff that has been trending, but that’s not all Adam draws.
Recently the artist shared a “dark” version of the famous cartoon character Charlie Brown on his Instagram. Instantly, the story was approved by his followers; in 5 days, more than 153,000 likes and more than 1,100 comments were left on the post that featured the story.
Adam’s comics have previously been featured on Bored Panda and you can find them by clicking here, and here.

Share on FacebookI love Adam Ellis! He's as brilliant a writer as he is an artist. A rare and wonderful combination. ☺️
Love how the names were the same but different , Scoopy was my favorite
Reminds me of Lovecraft's "Color out of Space" but not everyone dies here
This is so good. Starts off creepy and ends up wonderful. Charles Schulz would approve.
Charlie brown was always cynical and depressed. This just makes it even darker
Me too. But I'm very ✨ confused ✨
