When you think about your fondest childhood memories, some of them probably include the famous characters from cartoons that popped up on your TV screen every morning. You probably won't feel the same way about these popular characters after seeing this post.

Australian digital artist Wil Hughes, who studies animation at Griffith University in Brisbane, has a unique talent. He turns beloved, usually family-friendly pop culture icons into real nightmare fuel that looks like they clawed their way straight out of Hell. If you've never thought of Homer Simpson, Where's Waldo, or Spongebob as horror characters before, you will be now. Let's be honest, though, and we were all a little creeped out by Ronald McDonald, to begin with. Through his masterful use of shading, he creates realistic textures that give his 3D drawings a horrifying look.

Though Hughes' 3D art is definitely unsettling and he's developed quite a fan base that argues that it's quirky and original. Check the 3D paintings out (at your own risk) below, and get ready never to sleep again.

Mikey tried so hard to look scary... if only he had realized he just had to die, decompose a little bit, come back to life, and apply fake blood to terrify the hell out of people... it couldn't possibly be that hard 👹

He's obviously disgusted but oddly jealous at the fact that he can't sparkle.

for evreyone wondering what's this , this is how you made your own plumbus : First they take the dingle bop and they smooth it out with a bunch of schleem. The schleem is then...repurposed for later batches. They take the dingle bop and they push it through the grumbo, where the fleeb is rubbed against it. It's important that the fleeb is rubbed, becasue the fleeb has all the fleeb juice. Then, a schlami shows up, and he rubs it...and spits on it. They cut the fleeb. There's several hizzards in the way. The blamfs rub against the chumbles, and the...plubis, and grumbo are shaved away. That leaves you with...a regular old plumbus.

From the show Rick and Morty. Here's the Wikipedia description: "A Plumbus is an all purpose home device. Everyone knows what it does, so there is no reason to explain it. It was first shown in the episode, "Interdimensional Cable 2: Tempting Fate" where it was seen twice on the Interdimensional TV First when Stealy stole one from a workplace and made a sale offer for it, and again in an episode of "How They Do It" that shows the viewers how plumbuses are made. They are mentioned as being a common household and business place item used as an accent piece to the room."

There's a Netflix troll? Is he the one that keeps asking me if "I'm still watching..."?
