They use it cause it's cheaper than paper towels. Their bottom line is what it's better for.
Also, not better for yhe environment as you can recycle the paper towels but the handdryer uses electricity. Plus they are much less hygenic. Watch the TED talk on paper towel use and you'll only need to use one each time!
These things are so nasty, they just blow all the bathrooms germs right back on your hands. I just flap my hands.

Styrofoam is actually better than cardboard for the environment as it can be recycled better. Cardboard has a film layer stopping it from being recyclable. 😯
over 50% of people do not wash their hands after using the restroom. Which means no matter how well you wash your hands you get them covered in other peoples p**s and s**t when you open the bathroom door. Refuse to use restrooms that dont have paper towels Fun fact, Canada has ruled it a human rights violation to require food workers to wash their hands before handling food after they use the restroom.
So true though! I understand that it's cheaper, but there are much better, more eco friendly solutions to Styrofoam.

It should be banned. Can't they at least make it out of something biodegradable? My plastic bags for my compost bin are and i compost them a right along with my food scraps.
Rome wasn't built in a day. Be appreciative of what progress there is. Besides... does DD even use styrofoam cups? Who does anymore? Every fast food place I go into uses cardboard cups.

this is really just good clean fun.... vandalism? The " before" photo of the rescued mutt, Frank the tank, was proof of the fact that dogs accept whatever their fate may be, and his " after" photo shows how the fate may well be worth the wait! I loved that story.....

Someone in my neighborhood gets stickers from Home Depot that you'd put on your mailbox to write out your last name, which are very hard to remove. They put them on stop signs to say finny be and clever things. I've seen "STOP. Hammertime." "Stop Voldemorte" "Stop, collaborate and listen" "stop making excuses" "stop obama" "stop trump"
