They made the snowmen and after that it snowed again. It can be seen new snow fallen onto the snowmen. That's why there are no footprints, they are covered by the snowz

Snow which wiped out footprints would also have wiped out the wings of the snow angel. I think maybe someone cleaned up a bit with a snow blower.

I'm fairly sure this was done in calvin and hobbes in their "snowman house of horror".

Most of these were taken from C&H, or were repeated ideas (people really love their cat snowmen)
