Every craft has its mysteries. And while you can decode them through long hours of research and trial-and-error, you can also learn about them from those who have already mastered the art. Of course, not everyone wants to share their secrets. But Barcelona-based photographer Jordi Puig does.

He has become adept at using various tools to make his shot truly immersive. The best part, however, is that Jordi provides a behind-the-scenes look at his creative process, showing how you can adapt his methods as well.

If you go with Photoshoping the string out, you might as well Photoshop the stone in in the first place.

Nope, now the lightning on the stone matches the rest without having to photoshop that too.

They still need to work on their PS skills. You can see where they edited out the string on the stone (mostly the dent where it used to be on the lower left of the stone) and they forgot to shop it on the topmost glass shard.

True, but no one looking at these photos would even notice those small details, unless they were looking for them, having had them pointed out that these are photo tricks in an article..... the photos are still awesome!

Of all the shots using this technique, this is the one that makes the most sense to me. It actually provokes feelings.
