Creative Packaging Design Turns Pasta Into Hair

“Clever” and “pasta packaging” are two things that rarely go together – until now. Maverick Moscow based company Nikita has recently published a playful design concept that turns pasta into hair. Well, at least makes pasta look like hair, when viewed through the clear plastic cutouts on the box.

What do you think, Pandas? Is this packaging enough to convince you to switch brands? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!

If I saw these at the supermarket, my first thought would be "What are those shampoos doing at the pasta section?" And then "Oh, it is pasta... Eheh, nice one!"

I know! I just wanted to see how the fettuccine would turn out with the nests in different places! All the other pastas would be fine no matter how they landed in the box, but the fettuccine would be tricky! Or would it? I'll never know! :(

That's the point people They are trying to see you pasta - don't even wonder about the quality - from a packaging In Italy we don't need this : we look at the % of wheat, where is produced, the colour and the taste when is cooked This is just a fun packaging where I don't even see the massive connection between pasta and hair, simply as that And I studied design, not talking just as I am a customer

There are few mistakes I hope the concept is understandable

When I read the prices and see that some others are less... gotta go for the lesser priced, it would appear at first sight that I'm paying extra for a clever looking box.

That's how a brand can stand out from the shelf with creative minimalistic packaging design.
