32 Hilariously Clever Photographs From Award Winning Photographer Arthur Mebius
Arthur Mebius captures moments through a comedic lens. The best photography award winner creates one frame stories where he seeks to show the "past, present and future" in a single funny photo.
Mebius has worked in photography for over 15 years and has created signature hilarious image plots for advertising agencies large and small. The artist even produces film projects and says he can shoot 25 frames per second when briefed accordingly, "The stories that I like to shoot can be funny, curious, compelling, filled with plot twists or all at once."
When you look at the eclectic portfolio of Mebius, it isn't hard to see why he has been recognized by the likes of D&AD, ADC, Cannes, Epica and the PANL Sony Award. And though his works include quite a lot of photo editing, he still manages to portray the scenarios in a highly believable way. In addition to his commercial advertising gigs, the photographer stays busy with numerous personal projects.

It's from an advert for a pregnancy test. No-one seemed to get that is was supposed to be a joke (when you really really REALLY want to be sure), so was a massive advertising fail.
uhhh it gives me anxiety to think about how to clean all those fur. just how? look at the chairs! look at the lamp! doesn't it ever collects dust? doesn't it turn gray from collecting too much dust? everything should be thrown away every two weeks! it's impossible to keep them clean wih a simple wipe. please delete this I can't stop thinking... so much work to clean.... help!
Well, so many thoughts, but mainly, at least you can't see the cat fur on everything.
yes well um ok no human kids live here and I bet they wash the cats bottoms when they poo
I guess they like to feel hair on their backs... even when it's not the others :)
This reminds me of a Romanian detergent commercial from the early 2000s in which a couple have a similar all-white house and while doing laundry the guy is reading the detergent label about how that particular brand removes coal dust stains and remarks sarcastically "wow, we are so fortunate". Cue the doorbell - "Sign here for delivery of one grandpa, found down a coal mine"... Found here, in 240p only unfortunately: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbfmTi3VMOQ
I bet that it's sooo quiet there - and you still couldn't hear a pin drop!
See the look in those cats eyes. They see their future and it isn't pretty. Well, it actually is pretty.
"This wasn't what I was thinking when they said I could get rock-hard abs."
"Our other horse is a unicorn. Stacey, come out of the bathroom and bring Majesty with you!"
I was taught in the art school if the audience can't understand the message in the art - it's a fail for the artist. What's the point spreading a message which noone understands. I see this as a desparate and failed attempt to be original or funny.
Whoever wrote the headline needs to learn the difference between vaguely amusing and hilarious. Even vaguely amusing is a stretch.
Glad to know I'm not alone in the land of the lost. Kind of a Norman Rockwell feel but without getting to a point.
Great shots~ Was there a theme to this, tho? As a whole, I mean. I understand each photo is a different message, but was there a general intention? Just wondering.
Meh. Very well executed but cold. I have the impression that the photographer thinks he's incredibly witty when often he's just a bit of an a*s.
#25 has me really stumped. I think I get a lot of them, but some are just up for personal interpretation, I guess. I'm American, so maybe I just think I "get it", cause Americans can't admit they don't get the joke (except for 1 big ugly orange one).
