And even then, we are all so far apart… I read a complaint from a woman not long ago who felt her daughter was required to provide a grandchild to her because she “deserved it.” Um… no. I was shocked. When our kids are independent adults, they’re independent adults. They owe us NOTHING for being cared for and raised. That was our choice. Kids owe parents nothing for growing up and existing. Period.

I can't say... we do not know, if this sticker is not actually from her daughter, and she gave it to her mom as a gift.... You know, I and my sister are mocking our mother at home, and even on social media, like "She again did not won a moter of the year" award, or that she's the worst mother becuase she did not teached us how to open owen window to clean it, and other stuff.... BUT!!! Our mom is okay with that, she raised us this way to be sarcastic, she knows we just joking and laughting with us... For a short time when she'd introduce us to people, she'd always have to say something like, "... but they're not having kids..." somewhere during the introduction. My wife finally had to have a little chat.
I worked at a school for many years and saw many unwanted children. It's so very sad. My motto is, if you don't want kids, don't have kids. As a mom who will never be a grandma, I made my choice, so I respect their choice.

For the people saying it's a joke: maybe it is. But some people aren't going to find it funny because this is actually how some people think. I've had friends who get pressure from their parents or in-laws to have kids, and there are definitely some parents who say it's selfish to not give them grandchildren.

And it's good for people that live in very mediocre bubbles to see that other bubbles exist that are a whole lot different (and a lot less prevalent we hope). Just because it is not to your comfort, doesn't mean it can't actually grow your own sense of empathy towards others. And if it's too much. Skip it. But I can assure you there's a reason you didn't. I come back, guy's sitting in the chair reading the exact article I had been reading. Yes, there were numerous other seats without open magazines in them. I realize I expect too much.
