I could see how that would work, but no, it's not a grooming business, it's a rental in Ukraine. It's probably one of these communal types of apartments where the bathrooms and kitchens are one for each floor so they probably tried to fit it all in this one room due to the lack of space.

That is NOT what bathing tubs for dogs even look like! And no dog requires a shower curtain!

No it isn't. This looks too familiar to me, I've seen a lot of such kitchens/corridors in central and eastern Europe. This was made to save some space or because there were no pipes elsewhere in the apartment.

belive me it's not a grooming business. In old (XIX century) tenement houses in Poland, people had bath tubes in kitchen. First - there was no place for it (toilets were common and outside the flat), second - construcion and sewer plumb lines.

dude, hate to break it to you, but that's just how a regular human tub usually looks like in a large part of europe, it is in no way special or equipped for a dog, let alone a disabled child

Then what's with the shower curtain? It's not like you can put the dog in the tub and lets them clean themselves....?!

And here I was thinking they must get some BIG vegetables to need a sink this large to wash them.

No it isn’t. For many years I grew up in a very small set of rooms, in London, where the bath was in the kitchen. It was there because the water had to be heated on the stove. This would have been positively luxurious as it is plumbed in - ours was a tin bath that had to be manually emptied down the sink. We had no running hot water and shared a toilet with the family who lived in the rooms down stairs. My dad built a cupboard around ours so when not in use it was a seat. Having a bath in the kitchen was very common up until about 30 years ago, in the UK at least.

This was "standard" in some old appartments in old buildings even in Prague, where the plumbing was only in kitchen and toilet was outside on a floor. Still have 2 friends living in appartment like this, because they are cheap to rent and some ppl don't want to or don't have money to do full recostrunctions (as those appartments don't have bathroom as such, most of appartment has to be rebuild). 1 friend has bathtub, 1 has shower in kitchen. BTW both those appartmnets are in fancy location in citycenter, where generally appartments cost a fortune.

It's definitely in Europe/Asia and it's totally a human shower.

Or, spitballing here, they have/ had a small child with severe physical disability that meant they couldn't shower or bathe alone and if the full bathroom is up a set of stairs, this could have been the best place to put a tub a wheelchair bound child/ small adult could be bathed. ~~~~ but I still think it's a dog grooming tub.

My dog can't fit in that (Irish Wolfhound). But back to the subject, these others are right. It is an Asian thing, too, as well as European.

And what? You wash someones dog right beside kitchen sink where you wash the dishes from witch you eat your food?
