50 Epic Design Fails That Are So Bad, We Can’t Believe They Actually Happened (New Pics)
We can't all be visionaries like Frank Gehry - sometimes eccentric ideas just translate into crappy design - like the ones on the following list. No matter how many times we shame the bizarre creations of product designers everywhere, there seems to be an endless supply of poorly executed bad designs to choose from.
The following list is a collection of design fails from one of our favorite subreddit groups /CrappyDesign. While a multi-dimensional mirror may sound like something that belongs in the Museum of Modern Art, is it truly necessary to have one incorporated in your interior design? Or a bookshelf may seem like a necessity for your textbooks, but if they take up the whole locker, where does your backpack go? In the hospital I gave birth to my kids, an architect had the wonderful idea to paint in red the corridor leading to the operating rooms to symbolize the umbilical cord... really soothing when you're on your way for a C-section in emergency.
The trail of blood leading to the desperate, bloody hand prints at the end of the corridor... There is no escape from the madness...
NUH UH!! I remember this scene from "Nightmare On Elm Street". I just can't remember which sequel. And I AM NOT going to look it up!
My fear of hospitals just got 10x worse than it already is thanks bored panda!
They really need to repaint the floors before someone think a murder happened
Did anyone at any time consider that red might, just might, be the wrong color to use? That it may convey the wrong message? Like...unsuccessfully hiding a body, or two...

What was wrong in doing it... in light blue? As a river stream or something like that
I think I get what they were going for, something cutsey that looks like a kid might have done it. But, yeah, red was definitely the wrong color.
Clearly this is in a basement corner hardly ever used? Why would anyone paint the floor like this unless they were truly insane?
I guess I could try to see this as a way to promote donating blood...
