“Inject Me With The Coronavirus”: Trump Supporter Thinks The Pandemic Is A Hoax, Dies From Covid
An American who insisted that Covid is a hoax has reportedly died from the virus and left behind a series of social media posts that document his views.
The story was brought to the Internet’s attention when Minion Death Cult Podcast shared screenshots of these posts sent to them by one of their listeners.
Sadly, this isn’t the first time that a coronavirus denier has died from the disease. A few weeks ago, the same happened to a 33-year-old fitness influencer who thought it didn’t exist, and a month or so earlier, a 30-year-old man who allegedly attended a “Covid party” also died after being infected with the virus. The list goes on.
On August 5, this man declared that somebody could inject him with the coronavirus

General practitioner, medical researcher, and founder of PrimeHealth Clinical Research, Iris Gorfinkel, M.D., believes that one of the reasons why there are so many misconceptions about the Coronavirus, especially in remote communities, is the fact that many people have never seen a case of COVID-19. Or they’ve had very little exposure to someone who has been affected by it. “Some Canadian indigenous communities have even enacted strict lockdowns that go well beyond provincial guidelines, banning all non-essential travel in and out of their territory,” Gorfinkel told Bored Panda. “This makes communities feel protected, almost invincible. But these are the communities that are especially at risk of COVID-19.” Mind you, these groups often lack the medical services needed to attend to patients. But if nobody around you is taking the pandemic seriously and you haven’t really witnessed what it is capable of, it becomes easy to ignore the grim realities of how deadly the disease is.
He told people the reason the US is shut down is that someone is trying to destroy the country’s economy

At some point in the following months, the man contracted Covid, and shared one final post before his death

Later, one of his friends confirmed the sad news

Many have responded to this story by saying that the man deserved to catch the virus and even die from it. After all, “he literally asked for it”. OK, I can see why someone can think that way. But allow me to provoke you: isn’t this just another case of victim-blaming? I mean, we demand that the world operates in an orderly fashion, we want to know that we’re safe from the virus when we adhere to the regulations, so we comfort ourselves — we condemn this man, saying he wrote his own death sentence. But maybe he’s just an ill-informed individual who got the short end of the stick?
Here’s what people have been saying about it
Am I a bad person if I say that I don't pity him or his death in the slightest?
You are not a bad person for not pitying someone who literally got what he asked for....

First off, how arrogant can Americans be if they think shutting down their country is to ruin the country, and masks are to shut people up, and it's all a hoax - when the WHOLE F*****G WORLD IS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM?

It has been forecasted that 400,000 lives will be lost to covid by the end of January in the US. Most of these deaths are and were preventable. Our so called president is tweeting and wallowing from his bunker while Rome is burning. Wake up, people. Get informed and read. Learn how to question authority without trusting it blindly. If he cared about you, we would be singing a different tune right now.
I completely agree with you. However, I don't know if the saying "mustered up courage" could be applied here. There is no courage, I repeat, no courage that comes in voting for someone who openly mocks scientific progress and glorifies hate. ... after all, this is just a sad thing on so many levels. What is wrong with the education system that people can lack any logical thinking, and still, kind of, make a living? Why do thousands of people have to die before anyone gets that mixing up facts and opinions is gonna end bad? How can it be a political question how people act in a situation of a rampant pandemic, although it already killed like a million people, worldwide? Does the virus vote? I'm a Trump supporter and I don't understand why other Trump supporters do this. The coronavirus is legit, I have been infected. Like WHY. WHY. WHY. WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS!!
Why are you a Trump supporter when he suppressed vital information about how contagious and deadly this virus was? When he refused to follow public health recommendations and held multiple rallies, that were indoors, with no social distancing and no masks? When he repeatedly rolled his eyes at these rallies, saying that "the Democrats" were using Covid-19 to make him look bad? When he never once made a public announcement to the American people that wearing a mask and social distancing was crucial to keeping people safe. How on earth are you still a Trump supporter?
Load More Replies...If you developed horrible sores with COVID-19 then people might finally believe it is real. What's ridiculous is that a lot of these people believe in someone they've never seen and can't prove exists (God) but they can't believe in something that is a scientific fact.
Science is frightening to some people because scientific information is not static. It is perpetually in flux. Newfound information allows scientists to change their interpretation of how the world works. Religion is comforting to those sorts of people because the biblical world is quite simple, unchanging, and easy to understand. Sadly, few of the people who cling to religion even understand those basic teachings. They live by the interpretations of hucksters and TV preachers, who only wish to separate them from their money.
Load More Replies...Sigh ... when science and proven facts became a mere opinion at a large scale, everything got on stake, and still is. This was casually accepted and executed by an embarrassingly large group of people about topics that usually didn't make it into the headlines, but, actually, it grew there. It grew where creation myths were decided to be "equally viable like evolution theory", where the word "theory" was used to talk this fact down, where atrocities in factory farming where talked down to some hippie BS no one should care about, where legends of unemployment caused by a decent minimum wage were screamed into people's minds in endless, repeating loops, in a lot of, more or less, isolated topics - and now, this habit of mixing opinions and facts instead of logically processing facts and situations into opinions. And people didn't oppose that crap, but stood by and took the easy route, usually, whenever any of this came up - "that may be your opinion - I don't fear global warming!".
Tried to edit ... seems it didn't work - a half sentence is missing. ... - and now, this habit of mixing opinions and facts instead of logically processing facts and situations into opinions is accepted as a standard everywhere. ... is the full sentence.

Feeling sad for someone like him is useless. One can feel for his kids who will grow up without a father, but that's as far as it goes. Has the family received a call from the man who he sacrificed his life for? I don't think so. One can be stupid but not listening to Dr Fauci but listen to the deniers is plain criminal.
Oh the irony, this guy was played by a political scheme of Trumps. It`s amazing how his supporters are so naive .
Thanks, Karma! You rock!!! (hope he hasn't procreated. his offspring may also be not-too-bright.)
here is a fun fact from an essential employee in the educational field. "open schools, schools must be open," said many in this country. we cannot social distance in school. we are together in close quarters for hours on end. schools have seen a plummet in numbers of people willing to come inside the schools with us, like substitutes, and volunteers. I think that speaks volumes. and don't start with the 'schools won't let me in" excuse. there are hoops to jump through, but schools still need help. if you think schools being open is crucial, and you can help, get in there and help keep them open! and yes, you will have to wear a mask, and no , wearing mask 8-10+ hours a day won't kill you. but rest assured, covid might. so mask up!
here's the truth. covid is virus, not a political cause, but it has been used as such. if you look at history, anyone who was president at the onset of major negative events does not fare well. think civil war, great depression vietnam, etc. trump definitely could have and should have handled this better and differently. but I will not stand with people who revel in any covid victim's death.
Stop saying "Natural selection". Stupidity cannot be inherited. You are making fools of yourselves.
Actually, stupidity can be inherited. It can be inherited from the genes in the form of mental retardation and also in the form of low IQ. It can be inherited because the mother was lacking in proper diet and care while pregnant, thus influencing fetal development. It can also be 'learned' ie if one's parents are stupid, the child will not get the education he needs unless outside intervention occurs.
Load More Replies...I can't be the only one that immediately saw this man's stupidity when he said to INJECT him with the virus. As if BLOOD contact is necessary to get COVID!
You're reading that wrong. Injecting someone with live virus would be giving the virus. He didn't say anything about blood. A vaccine can be live attenuated virus or virus that is dead, rendered harmless. But if you inject a perfectly fine live virus, you'll get the virial disease.

Links don’t work I guess. I tried to link to a story about how political stories are often misinformation. Stories that use social media as a source are completely unreliable. The story goes on to explain exactly what is happening here: websites like this one grab stories they see online and report them as if they are verified facts. Then more and more people and websites pick it up and a completely fabricated story takes on a life of its own and is increasingly reported as if it were true. How can any of you take this story seriously when it includes this ridiculous passage...”The story was brought to the Internet’s attention when Minion Death Cult Podcast shared screenshots of these posts sent to them by one of their listeners.“?

Trumpy*'s "doctor" of the moment, Atlas, is telling people to enjoy a regular Thanksgiving, large gatherings, no masks, just have fun. I see another spike coming Mid-December. A hospital in Utah had to tell people their ICU is full. Covidiots don't believe them and say it's part of the hoax. They keep calling the hospital to ask if the ICU is full. They tried to get in an video the "empty ICU". Luckily, they didn't make it, but they keep trying. Today is the day of the Jonestown massacre. I see another mass death due to a crooked, insane, megolomaniac leader.
i just don't understand the ignorance level with some people. I just don't get it. Normal people do not act like this amongst a deadly pandemic. They've been brainwashed so badly
I didn't know anyone who had Covid, maybe because living in a very small market town in middle England. But I still wore the mask or visor, cleaned my hands, cleaned my shop surfaces. And now I do know someone who's had it. My partner, me and our daughter. Partner has asthma and got worse, went into hospital for 3 days, with pneumonia, but they caught it early. It's not an automatic death sentence, but it's there, and to pass it on may be a death sentence to someone else.

When he never once made a public announcement to the American people that wearing a mask and social distancing was crucial to keeping people safe. How on earth are you still a Trump supporter?

Only "hand - full" of people can plead not guilty. ---"The highest realms of thought are impossible to reach without first attaining an understanding of compassion." - Socrates (469 - 399) Greek philosopher, known as one of the founder of Western philosophy. .....universal compassion that is; pick and choose whom you'll love and whom you'll hurt is not compassion. ---" 'Thou shalt not kill' does not apply to murder of one's own kind only, but to ALL living beings; and this commandment was inscribed in the human breast long before it was proclaimed from Sinai." - Count Leo Tolstoy (1828 - 1910) Russian novelist, philosopher and mystic.
Good f*****g riddance - we don't need your DNA in the gene pool.

So benighted that he didn't understand that most nations were under lockdown at one point over the past ten months.

Load More Replies...You see this a lot. It's like the virus seeks out deniers. I know it just seems that way but........
If you don't believe the virus is real, it's unlikely you'll take precautions. If you don't take precautions, you're more likely to get the virus. Ergo, if you don't believe the virus is real, you're more likely to get the virus.

If he truly loved his children, he would have gone to any length to spare them the pain and loss his terminal selfishness precipitated.i cannot say whether he was that stupid or merely
It's people like this moron that make this whole situation so bad! If everyone would start believing it's real and take precautions against it, maybe we could all be done with it in a month or so!! It isn't going to go away over night!
Meh. Honesty I dont feel bad one bit. Stupid f*****g americans. The whole planet sees the USA as such a joke now. Even more then before. One less trump supporting retard.
I’m sure you’re a credit to your country, but do you think it’s odd to be using computers and the Internet to complain that the US is a joke?

Load More Replies...People are not heartless to not pity a follower of a treasonous would-be dictator. I’m not amused by the ignoble stupidity of his pointless death, but I can’t feel pity for someone who died for Trump because if he would die for Trump surely he’d have killed for him too. Just like in Germany and so many other places. I never comprehended how large proportions of a population could be led to commit atrocities. I do now.
