Countries do a lot of things to market themselves to tourists, and one of them is using catchy Slogans. Holiday deals website called Family Break Finder has collected all of them (except 38 countries that don’t have one) and put them on an exciting world map.
The most popular word is “beautiful,” but some countries stand out more than others with their tourism campaigns. For example, Australia used caps lock in their slogan “There’s NOTHING like Australia,” and Djibouti went with a clever wordplay “Djibeauty.” And looking over these famous slogans, an interesting statistic reveals – most of the countries fall into a category where nature, hospitality or exploration is emphasized, with only a few more original ones.
Now, scroll down below to see the world map with countries and their slogans for yourself. Which one of these catchy phrases do you think is the best? And which countries could have a better slogan?

Load More Replies...Isn't it interesting how almost all of them fall into but a few categories? 1. Inspiration and Exploration 2. Happyness and Hospitality 3. Nature and Beauty 4. Nothing like X
Maybe it should be NO MEN - not anymore you don't!
Load More Replies...Australia is funny... There is NOTHING like us. Have you SEEN our giant scorpions and killer snakes?
Or what about Austria? The slogan could be "NOT Australia"
Load More Replies...45 minutes is the average time you spend travelling to the main attractions at El Salvador. Either they have a very simple transportation system, or is a very very small country :D
Load More Replies...Having been to Finland, "I wish I was in Finland" feels very accurate for me :3 Also, Canada: "Keep exploring", "maybe you'll find a city in there somewhere :D"
We have lots of citys big one small ones just open your fucken eyes
Load More Replies...This is not accurate! I'm from Mozambique. Our slogan is "Mozambique, the Pearl of the Indian Ocean"!

Load More Replies...Did they forget Sweden, or am I just not seeing it for some reason?
Maybe because everyone can understand it ? -_-
Load More Replies...I like Cambodia's "Kingdom of wonder", Bhutan's "Hapiness is a place" and Gambia's "The smiling coast of Africa". Catchy.

I like this tourism slogan map though personally if I had to make up one for Sweden it would be The Heart Of Scandinavia.

IDK, I'd think Iceland would be 'powered by nature' more, since they get their power from geothermal plants - Hawaii might wanna look into that too, since they're also islands made by volcanoes that are still active.
I'm 45. I have lived in Australia my entire life and I never knew that all those countries in south east Asia and the south Pacific were part of Australia but they must be as they are all grouped as Australia. I always thought they were separate countries either in south east Asia or the south Pacific(or Oceania if you prefer) but according to this they are not(and yes I'm being sarcastic).
i misread for iran i thought "you are invanded" instead
"Sri Lanka - Wonder of Asia" It's true, we still "Wonder" what went wrong :(

El Salvador: 'The 45 minute country'! Syria: 'Always beautiful'. Jordan: 'Yes, it's Jordan'. Djibouti: Djibeautiful'. Wow!
All the slogans sound so significant and then Jordan is like: ''Yes, this is Patrick.''
What about Azerbaijan?? You wrote about all Caucasian countries but nothing about Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan- Land of Fire
Amazing; I'm an American, but never heard "All Within Your Reach"!
The most amazing thing is that none of them inspire me to visit them from their slogans! El Salvador's is very odd as well!
KSA "Experience to discover". Provided you are not a tourist, are a man, or a woman above the age of 45 and/or have a mahram with you. :(
The last picture has them all.. Hardly surprising that some don't have a slogan...."hmm...think I'll have a walking holiday in Libya..."
Load More Replies...Also, I like that Tanzania isn't shy of the exact three things tourists go there for :D
Is Chile's "All are welcome" really their slogan?! It seems a bit sarcastic after it has been the new home for many nazi-criminals..
