The most important day of your life, your wedding, means going all out and creating an experience that you, your beloved, and your wedding party guests will remember for decades to come. Amar Jandoo and Hiren Gondhia made a splash online when they wore matching outfits in blush for their wedding in Fall of 2019.

Amar and Hiren’s special day was photographed by none other than Zohaib Ali (who specializes in Sikh, Hindu, and Muslim wedding photography) who documented the occasion in Essex in the United Kingdom.

The couple ordered their matching clothes from Delhi in India and matched every detail, up to the flowers that complimented their outfits.

“Everybody was so complimentary of our traditional wedding outfits and the way we complemented one another,” Amar revealed to Insider what people said about the ceremony and the wedding outfits.

Amar met her future husband Hiren after a series of coincidences when they accidentally ran into each other several times in the same week. Sounds a lot like fate, doesn’t it?

“We met just over four years ago in a bar after seeing each other at the train station on our commute to work a number of times that same week,” Amar said. “We got engaged in September 2018 in Cappadocia, Turkey, under hot air balloons.”

Amar is Sikh, while Hiren is Hindu, so they decided to do two marriage ceremonies from both religions, instead of choosing only one of them. That’s the sort of love and mutual respect that leads to a strong foundation and a long-lasting relationship.

“So on Saturday we had our Sikh wedding at a local temple and on Sunday we had our Hindu wedding, followed by our wedding reception at Quendon Hall to wrap up the week of celebrations,” Amar said about the busy weekend they had in September 2019. The couple wore matching outfits for the Hindu ceremony.

She continued: “Given our wedding venue is in the middle of a deer park with lots of greenery, I wanted a subtle, pastel color wedding dress that would stand out and complement the flowers and decor at the same time. Both of our outfits were purchased from a boutique in Delhi, India, called Frontier Raas.”

What’s more, the couple picked the flowers once they got their outfits to make sure that everything matched. That also meant that the groom’s traditional dress outfit had to be altered. “Hiren’s outfit was originally in another color,” Amar said. “We requested that it be dyed to match mine.”
